Shawn Michaels

Coming off of the heels of last night’s episode of NXT 2.0, “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels has a few comments for the WWE Universe.
Kayla begins by asking Shawn about the current state of the NXT 2.0 Women’s Tag Team and NXT 2.0 Women's Championship divisions, and H-B-Shizzle explains “understanding what it’s like to turn on your best friend, I cannot in any way understand what Toxic Attraction is going through…” Shawn goes on to say “it’s something that we all experience in our lives. Do we have the character to let it not get the best of us? I obviously didn’t, but I do have to say, I’m excited to see where this goes!” Matt asks Shawn about the various partners he’s fallen out with, and Michaels tells viewers “me and Diesel, myself and Marty, even Hunter. I mean, you can name just about anyone. I didn’t get along with anyone, and even if I did, I still kicked them in the face!” Shawn continues “Toxic Attraction has a friendship that goes a long way back, and sometimes, the best of friends make great enemies.” Matt shifts his attention to Bron Breakker, and he asks Shawn to share his thoughts on the current NXT 2.0 Champion. Michaels states “I think the maturity… you know, he’s young and emotional. Everyone knows the emotion that runs through his family!” After recapping a few of Breakker’s recent feuds, Shawn says “he’s learned lesson after lesson, and I know it’s been tough for him, but maturity is the biggest thing I’ve seen grow in him lately. That Raw emotion is what makes him so great, and channeling that in the right direction will be the biggest challenge in his career.” Kayla brings the interview to a close, and the show rolls on to the next segment.

-Matt and Ryan preview the upcoming episode of Smackdown, until Kayla welcomes on the final guest.

Bron Breakker

In the midst of his ongoing feud with JD McDonagh, NXT Champion Bron Breakker is in The Bump studio, and he has a few comments for McDonagh. Kayla begins by asking Bron about last night’s NXT 2.0 exchange between McDonagh and Cameron Grimes, so Breakker says “you know, I’ve already beat Cameron Grimes. So if JD wants a piece of me, he can come get some.” Ryan asks Bron to share his personal views on the way JD has conducted himself as of late, and Breakker explains “I gotta respect the hustle he has. But, for him to attack me from behind in a cowardly manner the way that he did, I’m gonna whoop his ass next time.” Ryan follows up by asking Breakker about the style McDonagh brings to the table, and Bron tells viewers “any type of fist fight I can get into is one I’m looking for. The more physical, the better, that’s who I am. The most physical person in NXT, and maybe all of WWE.” Bron makes his exit from the show, and the next guest is on-deck.

-Ryan and Matt hype tomorrow’s edition of NXT UK, until the final guest enters the studio.

Mandy Rose

After a successful title defense on last nights episode of WWE NXT 2.0, the NXT Women’s Champion is here to share her thoughts on the match. Kayla begins by asking Mandy how she’s feeling now that the smoke has cleared, and Rose explains “I’m feeling amazing. Obviously, I still have my title, and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.” Mandy directs her attention to Cora Jade, stating “Cora is coming into her own, I tried to help her before, and I think she’s starting to realize that this business is tough. At the end of the day, there’s only one spot, and I think Cora is starting to realize that Roxanne may be trying to take her spot.” Matt recaps Tuesday’s hectic night of action on NXT 2.0, and he wonders if all of the extracurricular activities proved Rose’s strength as a leader. Mandy explains “100%. You guys have seen it, Toxic Attraction runs NXT. We are the most dominant group in NXT history, and I think it shows.” The Bump crew thanks Mandy for her time, and the final interview is in the books!

That’s all for this week’s episode of The Bump! Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the rest of your day!
