WWE The Bump: Clash At The Castle Preview (8/3)

-Kayla, Matt, and Ryan welcome the viewers onboard, and Kayla gives a rundown of today’s lineup.

-The Bump crew shares their thoughts on tonight’s Smackdown Women’s Championship showdown between Liv Morgan(c) and Shayna Baszler, Bianca Belair’s Six-Woman Tag Team Match, as well as Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship encounter with Sheamus, until the first guest stops by.

Matt Riddle

Ahead of tonight’s Clash At The Castle premium live event in Cardiff, Matt Riddle has a few comments for the WWE Universe. Kayla begins by asking Matt how he’s feeling, ahead of his match with Seth Rollins, and Riddle explains “you know, I’m still taken back by what Seth said. I think he, and everyone knows that im going to smash his face in, and I’m going to hurt him. He shouldn’t have brought anything that personal into it.” Matt Camp joins the fun, and he recaps the night Riddle and Rollins had on Monday Night Raw. Matt Riddle responds to a few clips of the hectic evening, and tells viewers “I think I got to Seth the second WWE hired me. He see’s me as someone that could take opportunities away from him. Thats who Seth has been since day one. He’s a piece of garbage, and I can’t wait to get my hands on him!” Kayla steps back in, and she wants to know what a victory over Rollins would look like for Riddle. Matt explains “with Seth, it’s not about wins and losses tonight. I want to hurt him. I don’t want his family to recognize him. I lost Randy, I lost my family, I’ve got nothing to lose bro. Im going to take everything away from Seth tonight.” Kayla thanks Matt Riddle for stopping by, and it’s time for the next segment.

-Matt and Ryan preview the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship war between Roman Reigns(c) and Drew McIntyre, along with Edge and Rey Mysterio’s battle with The Judgement Day, until it’s prediction time.

Bianca Belair

After Matt, Ryan, and the WWE Universe select the winners of tonight’s Clash At The Castle matches, the Raw Women’s Champion has a few words for the WWE Universe. Kayla kicks off the interview by asking Bianca how she’s feeling ahead of Clash At The Castle, and Belair explains “I’m feeling good, I’m feeling great. Im nervous, but I’m not scared. Im feeling good, and I’m feeling ready!” Matt takes Bianca back to Monday Night Raw, where Belair teamed with Asuka and Alexa Bliss for the first time. Bianca shares her reaction to a clip of Monday’s show, and Belair says “I’ve been an athlete my whole life, and a crucial element is the warm-up. We had a warm-up for tonight, and now we are ready.” Kayla points out the fact that Bianca’s title isn’t up for grabs tonight, and she wonders how that will change Belair’s approach to the event. The Raw Women’s Champion tells viewers “tonight, it’s a little less pressure to know that no one is coming for my title.” Bianca goes on to say “Me, Alexa, and Asuka are trying to keep this women’s division going the way it’s been going, and we’re not going to let Damage Control mess that up.” Kayla brings the chat to a close, and the final interview is in the books.

-The Bump crew thanks everyone for tuning in, and WWE’s The Bump fades to black.

That’s all for today’s episode of The Bump. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy Clash At The Castle!
