WWE The Bump (9/28)

-Kayla, Matt, and Megan welcome the viewers onboard, and Kayla gives a rundown of today’s lineup.

-The Bump crew shares their thoughts on the latest episodes of Raw, Smackdown, and NXT, until the first guest stops by.

Goldberg

In an effort to celebrate 25 years in the wrestling business, WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg has a few words for the WWE Universe. Kayla kicks off the interview by asking Goldberg how he’s feeling this morning, and the former World Heavyweight Champion explains “everything is great! I am playing the father role, our son is playing football, so i’m cruising the sidelines and trying not to get thrown out. Everything is good at the Goldberg house.” Kayla follows up with a question about Goldberg’s debut in WCW, and she wants to know what he remembers most about that night. Goldberg says “it was, i don’t know… it was tough. In a short period of time, I found myself against Bill DeMott on national television.” Goldberg continues “I can’t thank him enough for leading me through that match, and letting me survive it. It was the start of something very special, and I thank everybody, mostly the fans for being a part of this 25 year journey.” Matt chimes in, and he wants to know if Golberg’s incredible win streak was planned from the beginning. Goldberg explains “as it’s been documented, it was organic, it was fluid. I don’t think anyone knew what my debut would lead to. 173, or 176 more fell after that.” Megan enters the chat, and she’s standing by with a Twitter question. A fan asks who Goldberg had the hardest time delivering Jackhammers to, and Goldberg picks “The Giant. He weighed over 500 when i jackhammered him the first time, and he didn’t like being upside down.” Goldberg closes by saying “I would hold him up in the air as long as I could. By far, he was the hardest person to Jackhammer.” Kayla thanks Goldberg for stopping by, and it’s time for the next segment.

-Matt and Megan preview the next episode of Smackdown, until the next guest chimes in.

Grayson Waller

Coming off of the heels of last night’s NXT on the USA Network, The Arrogant Aussie Grayson Waller has something to say. Matt begins by asking Grayson about his schedule as of late, and Waller says “man, i’ll tell ya… many people say mean things about Grayson Waller, but I’m a nice guy, so I took time out of my schedule to come here.” Matt turns his attention to Apollo Crews, and he wonders why Grayson has an issue with Crews. Grayson explains “let me be realistic with you… Certain guys who aren’t doing so well on Raw and Smackdown want to come to NXT to chase my clout. AJ Styles tried to chase my clout, and now Apollo is trying to do the same thing.” Grayson goes on to say “the NXT locker room is abunch of fans masquerading as performers. I don’t want his autograph, or advice from him. Im offended that he is in my locker room.” Megan joins the fun, and it’s time for another Twitter question. A fan asks Grayson about his status in NXT, and calls Waller “the undisputed face of NXT.” Grayson responds, telling the fan “it’s not easy, but someone has to do. Many in the NXT locker room aren’t ready, but Grayson Waller is ready.” Matt brings the chat to a close, and the second interview is in the books.

-Ahead of the final interview, The Bump crew share an early look at next week’s show, and the final guest stops by.

The Miz

In the midst of a feud with the deranged Dexter Lumis, The Miz is here to share his thoughts on the situation. Matt begins by wondering why Lumis has taken issue with The Miz, and the Two-Time Grand Slam Champion says “I don’t know. I don’t get it. He has stalked me, he’s gone into my house. I don’t get why he is targeted me. I’ve tried everything, I’m at a loss.” Miz continues “I’ve tried Miz-Force, I’ve tried to get a whole security system. I mean, that’s where I’m at today.” Matt follows up by asking The Miz if his current location is safe, and the Monday Night Raw Superstar explains “no. My house is gated, I have as much protection and security as I could have right now.” The Miz makes his way out, and the final interview comes to a close.

-The Bump crew thanks everyone for tuning in, and WWE’s The Bump fades to black.

That’s all for today’s episode of The Bump. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the rest of your week!
