-- In a statement to Sports Illustrated, WWE confirmed that its talent and employees at the Performance Center are being screened on an active basis before being able to enter the facility.
"In consultation with WWE Medical Director Dr. Maroon, WWE Associate Medical Director Dr. Dugas and ringside physician Dr. Westerfield, as a best practice and precautionary measure all WWE performers and staff are required to participate in medical screenings prior to entering WWE’s training center, which is now operating as a closed set."
-- It is also being reported that the promotion has established a "series of protocols" based on the guidelines and recommendations set out by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) as a way to minimize risks and protects its performers and employees. However, at this time WWE is not testing everyone (i.e. those without any symptoms) due to the lack of these tests.
