WWE Confirms Two New Names For The 2022 30-Man Royal Rumble Match

Last Monday's episode of WWE RAW saw the first few competitors for the 2022 30-Man Royal Rumble Match be revealed, when The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) and The Mysterios (Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio) announced their intention of competing in the match. WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon then announced that Austin Theory will also be competing in the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match.

SmackDown last night saw two more names be revealed for the 2022 30-Man Royal Rumble Match, when Sami Zayn had a backstage segment with Jackass Star Johnny Knoxville and made fun of him. Zayn then lost a one-on-one match to Rick Boogs and was tossed to the outside by Johnny Knoxville, which would lead to the WWE confirming the Jackass Star for the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match. Knoxville already announced on his Instagram that he wanted to compete in the match and it was believed that he was already official but it looks like he only became an official participant last night on SmackDown.

"The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus also announced during last night's SmackDown that he will be part of the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match.

The 2022 WWE Royal Rumble PPV Event is set to take place on Saturday, January 29th inside The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
