WWE COO Triple H Gives High Praise To New RAW Superstar

As previously reported, the opening segment of RAW last night saw WWE official Adam Pearce sign Saudi Star Mansoor to a RAW contract during a backstage segment, officially welcoming him to the red brand. WWE United States Champion Sheamus then taunted RAW's newest signee into answering his Open Challenge later in the show. Mansoor would then challenge Sheamus for the WWE United States Title, but Humberto Carrillo attacked Sheamus from behind, ending the match in a disqualification. Sheamus would then end the segment with laying both Mansoor and Humberto out with Brogue Kicks.

Mansoor went into the United States Title Match with a 49-match winning streak, including singles and multi-man matches. His 49th win came on WWE Main Event in late April when he beat Akira Tozawa. Prior to RAW, the last match Mansoor competed in, but did not win was a Battle Royal at the August 24, 2019 WWE NXT live event in Tampa, Florida, which was won by current RAW Tag Team Champion Omos.

WWE COO Triple H took to his Twitter and said he watched Mansoor grow in and out of the ring since he first came to the WWE Performance Center and with stellar performances on NXT and 205 Live, HHH can’t wait to watch Mansoor on Monday Night RAW.

Triple H said, “I’ve watched @KSAManny grow in and out of the ring since he first came to the @WWEPC. With stellar performances on #WWENXT and #WWE205Live, can’t wait to watch him on Monday Night #WWERaw!”
