On Thursday, the Sports Business Journal reported that Disney secured their first WWE deal to bring the WWE Network service to Indonesia starting with the WWE Royal Rumble 2022 pay-per-view.

SportsBusinessJournal.com released the following details on the deal:

Disney secures first WWE deal, will carry WWE Network in Indonesia

Disney cut its first WWE deal, agreeing to an exclusive pact to carry WWE Network in Indonesia. The deal will make WWE Network available on Disney+ Hotstar starting with the Royal Rumble on Jan. 30. The agreement makes all WWE live events available to Disney+ Hotstar subscribers via a standard subscription. All events will be available in the Bahasa Indonesia language as well as in English. While this marks Disney’s first actual deal with the WWE, the two already have an established relationship. WWE earlier cut Latin American deals with Fox that Disney inherited as part of its '19 acquisition of Fox entertainment assets. Hulu also holds the U.S. re-air rights for WWE shows “Raw” and “SmackDown,” which are up at the end of the year.
