Booker T's Replacement For Tonight's Pre-Show Panel
Braxton then begins to introduce her fellow pre-show panelists, which includes Kevin Patrick, Wade Barrett and DJ Peter Rosenberg. They explain that Booker T was scheduled to come here but Barrett ended up filling in for him. As Patrick goes to speak, the loud "Ole!" chants from the partially-filled arena in Montreal break out.
Get Well Soon Wishes For Jerry "The King" Lawler
They also wish a speedy recovery to frequent pre-show panelist, Jerry "The King" Lawler, who is absent tonight as he continues to recover from his recent stroke. The panelists start to run down the advertised lineup for tonight's show as the official match graphics flash across the screen.
As they continue running down the matches, they stop when they get to the Women's Elimination Chamber match scheduled for this evening. On that note, we are sent to our first of many in-depth video packages breaking down action scheduled for tonight's show. First up, a look at the events leading up to tonight's Women's Chamber bout.
When the video package wraps up, we see our first look at the Elimination Chamber structure, which is already covering the ring inside the Bell Centre. The panelists then start giving their thoughts on the first of two Chamber matches scheduled for tonight's premium live event.
The panelists finish up their talk and dig back into the card. We stop on another video package telling the story leading up to tonight's mixed tag-team match pitting Edge and Beth Phoenix against Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley. The package wraps up and the panelists talk more about this four-person contest.
After a quick commercial break, we return to the Kickoff Show directly into our next video package, which this time looks at the events leading up to tonight's rubber match between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley.
"Le Belle Province" Written & Narrated By Ariel Helwani

Byron Saxton Live Backstage With Austin Theory
Once their talk wraps up, we shoot to Byron Saxton who catches up with Theory backstage at the Bell Centre. He mentions him defending his U.S. title against five of the fiercest contenders in the company. Theory disputes this claim and breaks down each man in the match and why they aren't on his level.
Now we head back to the panel after our second look at the Elimination Chamber structure covered over the ring inside the Bell Centre. The panelists then run down the rules for the Elimination Chamber matches.
The panelists give their predictions for the Men's Chamber bout and then we head into another commercial break after some promotion for the return of WWE on A&E with the nWo documentary and the rivals documentary on Andre The Giant vs. Hulk Hogan.

We switch gears and begin focusing on the Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship showdown between the reigning, defending title-holder, "The Tribal Chief" Roman Reigns and Montreal's own Sami Zayn. We then head into the video package telling the story leading up to tonight's headline attraction.
After the video package wraps up, we return inside the Bell Centre where there is an absolutely thunderous "Ole! Ole!" chant as the panelists welcome in to the Kickoff Show, MMA journalist and WWE on BT Sport personality Ariel Helwani. The guys talk with Helwani about tonight's show and in particular, the main event. The entire time there are loud, loud, LOUD pro-Zayn chants.

Women's Elimination Chamber Match
Asuka vs. Liv Morgan vs. Nikki Cross vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Natalya vs. Carmella
From there, we head inside the ring, where is already enclosed by the massive Elimination Chamber structure. The ring announcer begins running down the rules for the Elimination Chamber match. We then get down to business and the participants for the Women's Chamber match are introduced.
Out first is "The Empress of Tomorrow" Asuka, to a nice pop from the Montreal crowd. Next out is Carmella. We get the obligatory fan-boy commentary from Corey Graves as she settles into the ring and enters her pod.
Now Raquel Rodriguez's theme hits and out she comes to high-praise from both Cole and Graves. `Nikki Cross comes out next to a surprisingly big pop from the crowd inside the Bell Centre.
Michael Cole points out that the next two women who will make their way to the ring will be the two who actually start off this Women's Chamber bout. The familiar sounds for Natalya's theme hits and out she comes to a huge pop from the Canadian crowd.
Finally, the theme for Liv Morgan hits and the former SmackDown Women's Champion emerges and settles into the Chamber as well. Nattie and Morgan will kick things off in this one, as the rest of the competitors are in their pods until they are released one-by-one.
The bell sounds and we're now officially off-and-running with our first match of the evening. We see Nattie and Morgan go at it and then Liv starts to pull ahead. She slams Nattie into the fencing over and over again. She shoves Nattie's face all the way through the chain links.
Natalya starts to fight back. She slams Morgan into one of the pods over and over again. The fans chant "one more time" and Nattie obliges for a big pop. Finally the countdown clock appears and when it sounds down, the buzzer sounds and out comes Raquel Rodriguez.
We see Rodriguez dominate both women by herself. She ends up with both of them hanging off her body at the same time, but is tripped up and slammed into the Chamber fencing. Nattie works over Morgan in the ring while Rodriguez recovers outside the ring.
The countdown clock appears again and this time when it expires, Nikki Cross is let out of her pod. She comes out with a ton of nutjob energy and she immediately splashes all three women in three different corners of the ring.
We see Cross hit a high spot outside the ring on all three women. Rodriguez starts to work her over in the ring and then the countdown clock appears again. When it expires, out comes Carmella. Moments later, Cross smashes Rodriguez through Carmella's pod. She wouldn't leave it until it was smashed. Now she heads over and tries going into another pod.
Raquel Rodriguez ends up taking out Nikki Cross and covering her. Cole and Graves say she kicked out, but in actuality, she was pinned for a three count. They correct themselves and then Nikki Cross is announced as eliminated.
Morgan hits an insane sunset flip on Raquel off the top of the pod. Insanity! The crowd goes absolutely ballistic for that spot. The countdown clock appears again and when the buzzer sounds, Asuka is let out of her pod and she immediately goes after Carmella with a savage attack. The fans chant "Asuka's gonna kill you!"
Moments later we see Asuka with an arm bar on Raquel while she's standing. She escapes and hoists Asuka up. Morgan comes from behind with a big move for a close near fall. She hits a face-planter on Nattie and then a code-red. Nattie takes advantage of a shot from Carmella to Morgan and then locks her in the Sharpshooter.
The double submission ends up fading Morgan, who passed out unconscious. The referee takes a closer look, realizes this and calls it. Liv Morgan is eliminated. Now we see Carmella end up taking out Natalya right after this.
We're down to the final three, which is Asuka, Carmella and Raquel Rodriguez. The three stare each other down and then start to get after it as the noise and intensity from the crowd in Montreal picks up. We see Asuka and Carmella execute a double-pin on Rodriguez and she is now eliminated.
Carmella immediately takes Asuka down and tries getting a quick pin, but "The Empress of Tomorrow" kicks out after the count of two. Asuka ends up getting the Asuka Lock on Carmella, who taps out. Asuka wins the 2023 Women's Elimination Chamber.
Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley
Once the Women's Chamber match wraps up, the commentators plug Asuka vs. Bianca Belair for the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania and then we head to a commercial break. We return and the commentators send us into another quick break for some reason.
After this, we return inside the Bell Centre in Montreal where Cole and Graves get us ready for our second match of the evening. With that said, we are sent into the video package setting the stage for the rubber match between "The Beast Incarnate" Brock Lesnar and "The All Mighty" Bobby Lashley.
When the package wraps up, we return inside the venue and we see Bobby Lashley in the middle of his ring entrance. "The All Mighty" heads to the ring to a chorus of boos from the Canadian crowd.
Lashley settles inside the squared circle and fireworks and pyro goes off behind him. His music dies down and the fans and Lashley await the arrival of his opponent for this match-up.
Now we hear the familiar sounds of Brock Lesnar's theme music and the crowd goes absolutely insane with the loudest pop of the night thus far as "The Beast Incarnate" emerges and Canada's adopted son makes his way out for the rubber match against "The All Mighty."
The bell sounds and we're officially off-and-running with this one. We see Lesnar run across the ring, pick up Lashley and man-handle him. He runs him into the corner and then explodes out of the corner with a suplex, launching Lashley across the ring.
We hear a loud "Suplex City" chant as Lesnar goes to work on Lashley in the corner of the ring. He sends Lashley flying out to the floor and soaks up the atmosphere inside the Montreal venue before following out to add additional punishment to his opponent.
Lesnar hits Lashley with a big shot and rolls Lashley back into the ring. He follows in after him but is immediately met with a huge spear from Lashley for a close near fall. He waits for Lesnar to get up and then smashes him with a second spear. He stands behind him and waits to apply his Hurt Lock.
Brock finally stands up and Lashley immediately looks to apply the Hurt Lock. Lesnar fights his way out of it and takes over from there. He launches Lashley a few times in a row with F-5s. He goes for the cover but Lashley kicks out after the count of two.
We hear the fans break out in a loud "one more time!" chant. He stands up and plays to the fans and then picks Lashley up for a third F-5. Lashley counters and blasts Lesnar with a spear. Again he waits for Lesnar to get up and looks for the Hurt Lock. This time he gets it in. Lesnar can't get out. He low-blows Lashley. The ref calls for the bell. Lashley wins via DQ.

Lesnar drags the ref out of the ring and hoists him up and F-5s him through a table as well.
Edge & Beth Phoenix vs. Finn Balor & Rhea Ripley
We head to a quick commercial break and then head to an elaborate WrestleMania goes Hollywood commercial with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. After that, we head back inside the Bell Centre and get ready for our next match of the evening.
As we settle back in the venue, we see MMA journalist Ariel Helwani with Canadian legend and UFC Hall of Fame icon, Georges "Rush" St-Pierre. The commentators plug the official theme song for tonight's premium live event.
Now the video package airs to tell the story leading up to tonight's scheduled mixed tag-team match with WWE Hall of Fame power couple Edge and Beth Phoenix teaming up to take on The Judgment Day duo of Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley.

We see Ripley and Beth go at it for a while and then Dominik Mysterio starts to get involved at ringside. He is chased off to the back but ends up coming back out. We see brass knuckles passed into the ring and they are used by The Judgment Day.
Edge finally gets the hot tag but is blasted with the knucks. Balor then heads to the top rope looking to hit the Coup de Graces on Edge. Beth Phoenix ends up crotching Balor on the top, allowing Edge to recover and head to the top-rope after him.
Ripley gets under Edge and Balor but then Phoenix joins in as well. Beth and Ripley hit simaltaneous power bombs on Balor and Edge. The crowd pops huge. Beth and Rhea look at each other and then charge and knock each other down with clotheslines that connect at the same time.
Now we see Rhea take Beth out to the ring steps. Dom hands her a steel chair. She stands above Beth and hoists the chair up high over her head. Beth moves at the last second and ends up connecting with a Glam Slam on Rhea on the floor.
Back in the ring we see edge hit an Edge-cution and then a suicide dive to take out Dom on the floor. Edge heads back in the ring as Balor is staggering up to his feet. Edge goes for the spear but Balor hits a sling blade instead. Balor now waits for Edge to get up and charges at him, but runs right into a spear. Beth hits her finisher as a follow-up and Edge scores the pin fall victory.

Back inside the Bell Centre, out comes the reigning and defending U.S. Champion Austin Theory. He settles in his pod and his music dies down.
Now Montez Ford, red solo cup and all, makes his way out. One-half of The Street Profits settles inside his pod. The theme for Bronson Reed plays and the big man makes his way out to loud boos from the Canadian crowd.
Damian Priest's theme hits and out he comes. Johnny Gargano's entrance tune hits to bring him out to a nice pop from the Montreal audience. Seth "Freakin'" Rollins is out next as "BURN IT DOWN!" hits the loud speakers. The fans sing along with the theme as he heads to the ring.
The bell sounds and we're off-and-running with this one, which sees Rollins and Gargano starting the action off in the ring as the first two competitors in the match. The fans are still singing Rollins' theme loudly a minute or two after the bell sounds.
We see Rollins nearly get a Pedigree on Gargano off the ropes, but Johnny Wrestling avoids it. The countdown clock appears on the big screen and when it expires and the buzzer sounds, it is U.S. Champion Austin Theory who is let out of his pod next.
Now we've got Rollins, Gargano and Theory all in the ring duking it out while Priest, Ford and Reed are waiting in their pods. Now we see Theory pull a page out of Carmella's book, as he starts looking to run from the fight and hide in any available pod.
Gargano taunts Theory outside the pod but then on the other side, Rollins enters the pod and locks himself inside with Theory. He smashes Theory into the pod walls over and over again. Gargano locks himself in the pod with both of them and they both smash him off the pod walls.
We see the countdown clock appear again and this time when it expires it is Damian Priest who is let out of his pod. Ford and Reed are still awaiting to be let out of their respective pods. Priest hits a Broken Arrow as soon as he hits the ring. He starts taking out everyone one-by-one.
The countdown clock appears again and when it expires it is Bronson Reed who joins the match. Reed hits a crazy spot where he's got Rollins and Gargano across his shoulders at the same time. He hits a crazy splash and goes for the cover on Rollins but Rollins kicks out.
Reed sets his sights on Priest and he begins bashing him into the pod walls. He goes to work on Theory now and sends him crashing down to the iron grate-like surface outside the ring. As Reed continues to dominate, the countdown clock appears again.
When the clock expires this time, we see Montez Ford let out of his pod, and now every competitor in this Men's Chamber match is now involved in the action. Ford and Theory go to work in the ring and Ford starts to work him over. Ford looks to hit a People's Elbow but Reed takes him out.
Theory hoists Reed up across his shoulders. Reed slides out the back door and he hits a power slam on Theory as he comes off the ropes. Gargano and Reed start to go at it now. Rollins clotheslines Gargano off of Reed's shoulders after leaping off the ropes.
Gargano actually hit a hurricanrana on Reed as he was flipping over after Rollins' clothesline. That was crazy. The fans let them hear it with a loud "This is Awesome!" chant. Ford climbs up the fencing of the Chamber and holds on as Priest and the rest of the guys in the match fight down below.
We see Ford hook his legs on the slanted roof of the fencing of the Chamber and he lets his legs go and comes sailing down upside down, hitting a moonsault on all of the guys down below. That might be the coolest spot in years. Wow.
Rollins hits a Stomp and Ford follows up with a frogsplash off the top-rope on Reed. He goes for the cover and gets the pin. Bronson Reed is the first to be eliminated. Rollins and Gargano end up on top of one of the pods. Rollins bashes the back of Gargano's head on the wall over and over again.

He goes for the cover and Gargano is pinned and eliminated. Now we're down to the final four in this match.
Priest heads up to chokeslam Ford off the top of a pod, but instead we see Rollins scoop Priest for a powerbomb. Instead of that, Ford hits a crazy blockbuster on Priest off of Rollins' shoulders. He goes for the follow-up pin and gets the three-count. We're down to the final three in this contest now.
We see Rollins and Ford square off and go face-to-face. Ford leads the fans as they sing along to Rollins' theme. Rollins decks Ford and the fight is on between these two. We see Theory re-enter the mix and he and Rollins fight outside the ring ropes as Ford runs and hits a crazy flip, splashing onto both guys.
Back in the ring, we see Ford blast Theory with a big kick. He heads to the top-rope and comes off with an enormous frogsplash, but lands on the knees of Theory. Rollins follows up with a Stomp outside of the ring. He rolls him back in the ring and Theory scores the pin to eliminate Ford. The fans boo. Ford gave an unbelievable performance tonight.
Now we're down to the final two -- Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and defending champion Austin Theory. Rollins hits a crazy spot on Theory and goes for the cover, but Theory kicks out. Now with both guys down a ton of extra officials hit the ring to help Montez Ford up and out of the ring. He appears to be out of it. Rollins and Theory wait it out and continue to recover as Ford is helped out unable to walk on his own.
They go to help Ford down the steps outside the Chamber and Ford staggers and crashes. They help him back up and the camera switches back to the action in the ring. Rollins goes for a Stomp but Theory moves. Rollins hits a Pedigree. He backs into a corner and waits for Theory to get up.
Out of nowhere, Logan Paul hits a flip over the ropes and clotheslines Rollins. The fans loudly boo. A referee gets in Logan's face and tries to get him out of there but Logan side-steps him and blasts Rollins with a big stomp. Logan then locks the Chamber cage door and yells in to Theory.
Theory recovers and backs into the ropes. He notices Rollins is out of it. He heads over and picks Rollins up. He hoists him across his shoulders and spins him and crashes him down over his knee. He goes for the cover and scores the pin. We see Logan Paul pointing and laughing at Rollins as Theory's theme hits. Austin Theory wins the Men's Chamber match and retains his U.S. title. Amazing, amazing match.
Winner and STILL WWE United States Champion: Austin Theory
Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship
Roman Reigns (C) vs. Sami Zayn
Now we head to a quick commercial break. When we return, we head straight into the elaborate video package that tells the story leading up to tonight's highly-anticipated showdown between "The Tribal Chief" Roman Reigns and the former "Honorary Uce" Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship.
Once the package wraps up, we shoot back live inside the Bell Centre where the familiar sounds of the entrance music of Roman Reigns plays, as the Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion emerges and makes his walk to the ring first.
"The Tribal Chief" takes his time heading to the ring, and is getting one of the most lopsided crowd reactions, from a negative point of view, in a long, long time. He settles in the ring and poses with his two championships.
Now his music dies down. The crowd continues loudly booing. After a nice delay, the bad-ass, upbeat entrance music of Sami Zayn hits and the hometown crowd goes absolutely ballistic. He heads down to the ring and the fans sing along with his theme similar to the way they do with Seth "Freakin'" Rollins.
This has "moment" written all over it. Just completely all over it, folks.
We hear the ring announcer handle the final, formal ring introductions for the champion and the challenger. Reigns gets in Zayn's face on his introduction. He looks over and sees Zayn's wife and father and brothers and 17,000 hometown fans and starts smiling and pointing at them.
From there, the bell sounds and we're officially off-and-running with our WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 main event of the evening. The crowd explodes at the sound of just the bell sounding.
Neither man moves for a good minute or two, instead soaking up the absolutely insanely wild crowd atmosphere. There's rarely been a crowd like this -- ever. Very few. Very, very few. The two are playing up the moment perfectly so far.
We hear loud "Ole!" chants. Loud "Sami!" chants. Loud "F*ck you, Roman!" chants. Sami smirks at the latter. He extends his arms out wide and looks at Reigns as if to say, "C'mon, Tribal Chief!" The fans start chanting some more as Sami points to each side of the arena as he talks trash to Reigns from across the ring.
The two finally lock up and the crowd pops huge for that alone. Reigns slaps on a side head lock and the fans begin loudly booing at that. He throws Sami down and taunts the crowd. The fans loudly boo and then break out in another "F*ck you, Roman!" chant.
Now the two lock up again and this time we see Sami slap a side-head lock on Reigns. The crowd pops huge for that and breaks out into loud "Sami! Sami!" chants. They've got 17,000+ in the palms of their hands tonight, wrestling fans. Let's see what they do with it. Let's see what WWE decided to do with this.
Reigns ends up escaping Sami's clutches and he again throws the smaller man down to the mat. The crowd boos and breaks out in yet another loud "F*ck you, Roman!" chant. The two lock up again and again Reigns slaps a side head lock on Sami.
Zayn escapes and knocks Reigns out over the top rope and out to the floor. He bounces off the ropes himself, builds up a full head of steam and hits a crazy dive over the ropes, crashing onto Reigns on the floor for a huge pop from the Montreal crowd.
Back in the ring, Sami continues to work over Roman. He climbs up on top of him in the corner and starts doing the ten punch spot as the fans count along with each shot that lands.
Reigns ends up catching Zayn coming off the top-rope with a big uppercut on the way down. Reigns takes over from there. The crowd gets on his case with loud boos and another set of "F*ck you, Roman!" chants. Reigns starts doing his trademark style, beating down Zayn slowly and methodically while talking trash to him all-the-while.
We see Roman beat Sami out to the floor where he takes him over right in front of his wife and family and starts beating him down and taunting him. He also taunts Sami's wife, who pleads with him and also tries yelling encouragement to Sami, to no avail.
"The Tribal Chief" continues pummeling Zayn and then brings him back into the ring where he delivers more of a beat down as he starts to kill the energy from the crowd. Just as this is happening, Sami shows a sign of life, leap-frogging Roman and then blasting Reigns with a clothesline that brings a loud roar from the crowd followed by another loud "Sami! Sami!" chant.
Zayn takes over from there, beating down Reigns and knocking him out to the floor. He follows him out and delivers more punishment and then rolls him back into the ring. He stops and kisses his wife for a big pop and then heads to the top-rope. Before he can do anything, Reigns runs over and blasts Zayn with a big shot and then climbs up after him.
Sami ends up hitting a sunset-flip into a power-bomb to bring Reigns off the top-rope the hard way. He goes right into the pin and gets a close two count. The crowd bought into that one a bit. Moments later, Reigns fights his way back into the offensive lead. He hits a standing choke slam and goes for the cover for a close near fall of his own.
We see Reigns pound the mat and wait for Sami to get up. When he does, Reigns charges at him but Sami ends up catching him and countering with an Exploder into the turnbuckles in the corner. Sami goes for a follow-up spot but runs right into a Superman punch counter from Reigns for another close near fall.
Now "The Tribal Chief" stalks Sami and waits for him to get up. When he does, he charges at him with a Spear attempt but Sami leap-frogs him and Reigns smashes into the corner. Sami takes Reigns out with another Exploder. Sami pounds the mat like Roman and waits for him to get up.
When he does, he charges at him and blasts him with a Superman punch of his own. He hits a follow-up kick and goes for the cover. 1-2....NO! The champ kicks out and the crowd goes nuts thinking that might have been it.
As Sami goes after Roman again, we see Reigns slides under the ropes and head out to the floor to avoid him. Sami slides out on the opposite side of the ring, runs around and dives through the ropes only to come out the other side of the ropes right into a big Superman punch from Reigns.
Out of nowhere we see Sami blast Reigns with a Spear through the barricade. Back in the ring, Sami avoids a Superman punch from Roman and counters with a Blue Thunder Bomb right into a pin attempt for a super close near fall.
Zayn tries pumping the crowd up even more than they already are. Reigns charges at him and the two sandwich the referee in the corner. The ref collapses and Sami goes to work on Roman. He hits his finisher on Reigns and covers him but there is no referee to make the count. The fans try and count for him but obviously that doesn't work. The fans loudly boo.
Sami goes over to check on the ref and he rolls out of the ring. Sami turns around and is met with a super kick from Jimmy Uso. Jimmy hits a second and a third one. He heads to the top-rope and comes off with an Uso Splash. He helps Roman Reigns over and puts his arm over Zayn. A new official runs into the ring and makes the count but Sami somehow kicks out. The crowd goes ape-sh*t.
We hear loud "Ole! Ole!" chants as Jimmy Uso settles at ringside and Sami and Roman start exchanging shots from their knees back up to their feet. Roman starts getting the better of him and he grabs Sami by the face and starts yelling "You understand me?!" at him. Sami fights back and starts to go wild on him in the corner.
He knocks Roman out to the floor and notices Jimmy Uso on the ring apron, so he turns and kicks him off. He turns around again and is blasted by Roman Reigns with a huge Spear. Roman goes right into the cover and nearly ends this one, but again somehow Zayn finds a way to kick out before the count of three. The crowd popped huge when Sami kicked out.
Roman Reigns yells "I tried to help you! This is how you repay me?!" as he and Sami Zayn both slowly get back up. Roman starts repeatedly slapping Sami in the face over and over again. Sami stands up and blasts Roman with a huge slap.
Roman goes for the Superman punch but misses Sami and hits the back-up referee with it. Sami hits Roman with one but then Roman hits Sami with one as well. Both guys are down and there is once again no referee in sight.
Now "The Wise Man" Paul Heyman is seen at ringside reaching under the ring and pulling out a steel chair. He hands it to Roman Reigns. Reigns goes to use it on Sami Zayn but turns around and sees a confused looking Jey Uso standing between he and Zayn. Uso smirks and stares at Roman.
He looks back at Sami. Roman yells at Jey and asks if he's backing Sami or asks if he's with us and The Bloodline still. He goes to hand Jey the chair the same way he did Sami. Jey hesitates. He looks sad and looks down at Sami. The fans chant "No! No! No!"
Jey grabs the chair and Roman walks over to Sami cocky and smiling. Jey grabs the chair and gets ready to swing it. He hesitates and stares. We hear Paul Heyman yell, "What are you waiting for?!" at ringside. Reigns turns and looks at Jey angrily. Roman says "You're wasting my time!" and then grabs the chair from Jey. He pie-faces him and yells "What's wrong with you?!"
Now Sami Zayn has recovered and goes to Spear the champ from behind. Roman side-steps him and Sami accidentally takes out Jey Uso with a spear. Now Roman starts relentlessly beating down Zayn with a steel chair as the fans boo. Reigns stalks Sami and lets out his war scream. He charges at Sami and blasts him with a Spear. 1-2-3. Roman Reigns wins and retains his Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Championship in a thrilling main event.
Winner and STILL Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion: Roman Reigns
Kevin Owens Makes Save For Sami Zayn In His Hometown Of Montreal
We see Jimmy Uso hit the ring after the match ends and he begins a post-match beatdown of Sami Zayn as the fans loudly boo. We then hear the familiar sounds of the entrance theme song of Kevin Owens.
The crowd explodes!
Out comes Montreal's other favorite son and he hits the ring and begins taking out Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns. He hits a pop-up power bomb on Uso through the commentary table at ringside. He then heads over and grabs a steel chair as the fans chant "K.O.! K.O.!"
Kevin Owens slides the chair in the ring and slides under the bottom ropes. He picks the chair up but out of nowhere, we see "The Wise Man" Paul Heyman trying to attack Owens from behind.
Owens turns and stares at Heyman as the fans loudly chant, "You f*cked up!" at Heyman. Owens turns and takes out Heyman with a Stunner. Owens looks over and sees Reigns trying to get up in the corner. The fans loudly chant "Ole! Ole!"
Sami Zayn has recovered in the opposite corner, which Owens turns and notices. He backs up a few steps and Sami Zayn runs and charges at Roman Reigns with his kick to the face finisher in the corner. He flattens Reigns and leaves him laying.
Now Zayn turns and sees Kevin Owens. His theme hits and Owens exits the ring. Zayn watches him leave the ringside area. Roman Reigns rolls under the bottom rope and heads to the back as well. Sami Zayn stares at Kevin Owens at ringside from in the ring. The two nod their heads at each other as the fans in Montreal go absolutely bonkers.
The fans sing along with Zayn's theme as Sami leans on the ropes looking disappointed. Owens stops at the top of the stage and turns and looks at Zayn in the ring, almost looking as if he feels sorry for Zayn not getting the win and the big moment in their hometown.
Zayn thanks the crowd, who give him another loud pop and continue singing along with his theme. Michael Cole says we're officially now on the road to WrestleMania. He thanks us for tuning in and plugs the post-Elimination Chamber press conference coming up now.
