WWE ELIMINATION CHAMBER RESULTS (2/19/2022)
The WWE Elimination Chamber Kickoff Show is now underway as host Jackie Redmond, Matt Camp and Peter Rosenberg welcome us inside the studio panel.
They run down the lineup for tonight's show and then send things to the first of many pre-show packages telling the story leading up to a given match, the first of which is the Women's Elimination Chamber match.
When we return the trio give some insight and analysis into the women's Chamber bout, where the winner moves on to challenge for the Raw Women's title at WrestleMania 38. They give their picks for who they feel will win, with talk of Bianca Belair having the advantage as the final entrant in the match.
After wrapping up, they send things over to Kevin Patrick in the Jeddah Super Dome. He introduces his guest, Natalya. Nattie talks about Liv Morgan being her pick to emerge victorious in the women's Chamber match while also quipping that her cat has blocked Rhea Ripley on Instagram.
We head back to the pre-show panel where the Kickoff Show hosts start some discussion about the Raw Women's Championship match on today's show between Becky Lynch and Lita. We then head to a quick commercial break.
When we return from the break, Redmond, Rosenberg and Camp talk at length about the Lynch-Lita showdown, particularly how Lita is one of Lynch's idols and how if Lita wins, it changes things up in a big way heading into WrestleMania 38.
From there, we send things over to the pre-match package for the Madcap Moss vs. Drew McIntyre showdown scheduled for today's big event. When the video wraps up, the panelists give their quick thoughts on the match and then send things to the next package.
On that note, the in-depth vignette hyping today's WWE Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Goldberg airs.
After it wraps up they talk with each other about the bout and then we head to the pre-match package for The Usos vs. The Viking Raiders match for the SmackDown Tag-Team Championships.
Once they wrap up the discussion, we head back inside the Jeddah Super Dome for our first match of the show.
The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio
On that note, we are introduced at ringside by Michael Cole, Byron Saxton and Corey Graves. The commentary trio set the stage for the opener and then The Miz's theme hits.
Out comes the self-proclaimed "Most Must-See WWE Superstar." He settles inside the ring and a video plays to tell the story leading up to this bout.
We return live to the familiar sounds of Rey Mysterio's entrance music. The masked fan-favorite heads to the ring and his theme fades down.
The bell sounds and we are off and running with this one. The Miz jumps on Rey to kick this one off, taking advantage of the masked legend while his back is turned.
After getting in some early offense, Miz finds the momentum quickly shifting into Mysterio's favor. Mysterio sets Miz up on the ropes for his trademark 6-1-9 spot, however "The A-Lister" avoids it by heading out to the floor.
Mysterio builds up a full head of steam and launches himself from the ring onto Miz on the floor with a big splash. As the action resumes inside the ring, we see Rey follow-up with some more fast-paced offense.
After Maryse provides a distraction-related assist, Miz takes back control of the offense. He lands some brutal kicks, but then runs into a back-elbow by Rey in the corner.
Mysterio follows that up by whipping Miz into the steel ring post shoulder-first. He heads to the top rope and connects with a senton. After another top rope spot he goes for the cover, however Miz kicks out after the count of two.
The crowd is on fire inside the Jeddah Super Dome, as chants of "This is Awesome" spreads throughout the building. Miz starts to take back over on offense, planting Rey into the mat with a DDT.
We see Miz look for his trademark Skull Crushing Finale finisher, but Rey avoids it. Rey takes back over and looks to connect with his finisher, however Miz rolls out to the floor.
Miz grabs a steel chair but then turns around and is caught by Rey, who sails through the ropes with a big splash. Dominik gets involved again and the referee ejects him from ringside.
Back in the ring, Miz goes for his finisher again, however Rey counters into a roll-up and scores the pinfall victory.
Winner: Rey Mysterio
After The Match: The Action Continues
We see Miz hit Mysterio with a cheap shot after the bell. Dominik ends up hitting the ring again, however, and the Mysterio's catch Miz with a double 6-1-9 to end the post-match scene.
Now we return to the Kickoff Show studio where the pre-show panelists give their brief reaction to the opener before sending things to a quick commercial break.
After we return, the Kickoff Show trio sets the stage for our next elaborate pre-match video package. This time we get an extensive look at the events leading up to the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber main event for today's big event.
The package wraps up and then we return to the pre-show panelists, who run down their thoughts on the match before giving their respective predictions. From there, they wrap up the Kickoff Show and send us back to the Jeddah Super Dome, as it's time to get our main show underway.
The elaborate "cold open" video package airs after the "Then. Now. Forever. Together." signature, which gets the main show off-and-running.
The event theme plays and we shoot inside the Jeddah Super Dome again where the commentary team welcomes us to the first international installment ever for the WWE Elimination Chamber event as fireworks and pyro erupts in the background.
WWE Universal Championship
Roman Reigns (C) vs. GoldbergAfter the quick introduction from the commentary trio, we send it over to the pre-show package for our first bout on the main card, which will see the WWE Universal Championship at stake.
We return from the package inside the Jeddah Super Dome to the familiar sounds of the theme song of the reigning, defending WWE Universal Champion. Roman Reigns makes his way out accompanied by The Usos and Paul Heyman.
He settles in the ring and his music dies down. From there, the iconic sounds of Goldberg's theme plays and as the fans chant his name, the legend makes his way to the ring.
The ring announcer handles the final pre-match business, as he does the formal introductions for this championship contest. The bell sounds and we are off and running with our opening bout of the show.
Fans chant "Goldberg, Goldberg" as the two circle each other and eventually lock up. They remain in the lock up for an unusually long amount of time, looking to impose their strength on the other. Reigns ends up getting the better of things. He then blasts Goldberg with a headbutt and the action continues outside the ring.
Goldberg gets in some offense at ringside and then the action resumes inside the squared circle. Goldberg blasts Reigns with a spear as he was coming off the ropes. Reigns avoids being put away by Goldberg's trademark move and then plants the WWE Hall of Fame legend with a urinagi.
Moments later, Reigns blasts Goldberg with a Superman punch. He looks to finish him off after that, however Goldberg ends up catching him out of nowhere with another big spear.
Before Goldberg can follow up with any additional offense, he finds himself caught in a guillotine choke by the Universal Champion. Goldberg slowly fades and ultimately goes out. Reigns wins and retains his title on the 537th day of his record reign. With the win, he moves on to face Brock Lesnar with his title on the line at WrestleMania 38.
Winner and STILL WWE Universal Champion: Roman Reigns
Women's Elimination Chamber
Alexa Bliss vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan vs. Bianca Belair vs. Doudrop vs. Nikki A.S.H.The pre-match package for our next match airs. Next up is the first of two Elimination Chamber matches scheduled for this special event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Bianca Belair makes her way out to a nice reaction. She heads into her Chamber as the commentators point out that she is one of the favorites due to her spot as the final entrant into the match.
Doudrop makes her way down to the ring second. After she settles into the ring, the familiar sounds of Rhea Ripley's theme plays. Ripley heads to the ring to a thunderous ovation from the crowd.
Michael Cole points out that Elimination Chamber is the number one worldwide trending topic on Twitter as the theme for Nikki A.S.H. plays and the "Almost Super Hero" heads to the ring.
Liv Morgan's theme hits and out she comes to a legitimate Superstar pop from the fans. Finally, Alexa Bliss' entrance music plays and the last member of this six-person match makes her way out.
The commentators point out that this is the first real match Bliss has competed in since back in September. They also point out that the winner of the first women's Elimination Chamber match from 2018 just finished therapy, noting it will be interesting to see how she performs in the ring as a result.
The bell sounds and it will be Morgan and Nikki starting this one off, as the other participants in this match remain in their respective pods.
Nikki takes it to Liv straight out of the gate and then brings the action out of the ring. She bounces Liv's head off the iron flooring. She continues the assault back in the ring after stopping briefly to talk some trash to Ripley, who is still inside her pod.
The fans count down along with the clock, which flashes across the screen. When the buzzer sounds, out comes Doudrop as the next entrant in this match. She immediately makes her presence felt, taking it to Nikki and Liv.
Outside the ring, we see Doudrop hit a running senton which pops the already hot crowd. The count down begins again and when the buzzer sounds this time, we see Nikki as the only woman standing in the ring when her arch-rival Ripley emerges from her pod as the fourth competitor in this six-woman bout.
Doudrop blasts Nikki while her back was turned due to her focus being on Ripley. We see Ripley launch Nikki off the top of the pod after she attempted to climb up and avoid her. Shortly afterwards, Ripley hits her Rip-Tide finisher and score the follow-up pinfall to eliminate Nikki.
The countdown clock appears again and when it expires, we see Alexa Bliss emerge as the next entrant into this match. Moments later, Liv hits a wild top-rope sunset flip, effectively power bombing Doudrop and scoring the pinfall to score the next elimination in this match.
We see the final countdown clock appear and when it expires, our sixth and final entrant, Bianca Belair, emerges from her pod.
Belair hits the scene with a ton of energy, taking out any-and-everyone in sight. She hits a big moonsault off the top. Belair and Ripley hit simultaneous high spots on Liv and Alexa as the fans chant "This is Awesome."
Ripley and Belair now turn their attention to each other and they begin duking it out. Alexa blasts them from behind. She then hits her top rope finisher on Liv. She covers her and scores the pinfall to eliminate her.
Moments later, Belair hits her KOD finisher on Ripley. She covers her and scores the next elimination. We're now down to the final two competitors in this Chamber match.
Belair and Bliss trade shots and high spots back-and-forth and then we see Bianca hit her Kiss Of Death (KOD) finisher for the pinfall victory. With the win, Belair moves on to the title match at WrestleMania 38. She poses on the ropes to celebrate as fireworks and pyro explodes behind her.
Winner and ADVANCING to WrestleMania 38 title match: Bianca Belair
Charlotte Flair & Sonya Deville vs. Ronda Rousey & Naomi
After a quick commercial break we shoot to a video package looking at a recent charitable appearance made by Drew McIntyre on behalf of WWE.
From there, we head back inside the Jeddah Super Dome where the ring announcer runs down the special stipulation for our next match, which will see Ronda Rousey have one arm tied behind her back.
After that, we hear the familiar sounds of Charlotte Flair's theme song, as the SmackDown Women's Champion makes her way down to the ring for this tag-team contest.
Out next is her tag-team partner, Sonya Deville, who still has her arm in a sling as a result of Ronda Rousey's armbar. She settles in the ring and the two await the entrances of their opposition for this match.
Now it's time to Feel The Glow, as Naomi makes her way out and heads down to the ring. After her, the familiar sounds of Ronda Rousey's theme plays and out she comes in the same Judo gi she wore to win her Olympic medal years ago, as well as her black belt.
A special video package showing media coverage of the women's MMA pioneer and UFC Hall of Fame legend airs and then we return live where we see Rousey get one arm tied behind her back.
The bell sounds and we see Rousey and Sonya start things off for their respective teams. Rousey has one arm tied behind her, while Sonya has one of her arms in a sling. Sonya tells Ronda to wait and then she makes the big reveal -- taking her sling off to reveal that her arm is actually fine.
We see some early action and then Sonya gains the upper hand. She tags in Charlotte, who picks up where she left off, taking it to the one-armed Rousey.
Naomi tags in and gets in some offense, however it isn't long before Ronda tags back in and finds herself on the defensive after Deville and Flair pull some trademark heel tactics to shift the momentum back in their favor.
We see Charlotte dominate the action, taking it to Rousey for several minutes until finally, Rousey makes the tag to bring the fresher Naomi back into the ring. Naomi immediately makes her presence felt, blasting Charlotte, who heads out to the floor in attempt to avoid her. Instead, Naomi hits a corkscrew splash on her from the ring out to the floor.
Back in the ring, Naomi finds herself on the defensive after some double team action from Charlotte and Sonya. Rousey tags in, as does Sonya, and we see Ronda hit her Piper's Pit homage spot on her to set her up for the arm bar. With one arm, Rousey sinks in the arm bar, taunting Charlotte in the process. Sonya taps out. Ronda Rousey and Naomi pick up the win.
Winners: Ronda Rousey & Naomi
Falls Count Anywhere
Drew McIntyre vs. Madcap MossThe pre-match package for Drew McIntyre vs. Madcap Moss airs now to get us ready for the next bout on the show.
After the package wraps up, we listen to Cole and Graves bantering back-and-forth on commentary with various zebra jokes and such as Moss makes his entrance to the ring.
Once he settles in the ring, with Happy Corbin by his side, we hear the familiar sounds of Drew McIntyre's theme. "The Scottish Warrior" emerges with his massive sword as we get ready for this one-on-one contest.
One bad joke later and then the bell sounds to get this one off-and-running. We see Moss and Corbin immediately jump McIntyre and begin a two-on-one beatdown. Eventually McIntyre fights his way back into competitive form as the action spills out to the ringside area on the floor.
Michael Cole reminds us that this is a Falls Count Anywhere match as McIntyre takes it to Moss and ultimately runs Corbin off to the back. Back in the ring, we see McIntyre hit an Alabama Slam that dumps Moss right on top of his head in a scary spot.
We see Corbin has returned to his spot on the floor at ringside as "The Scottish Warrior" proceeds to take it to Moss. On commentary, Graves marvels at the fact that Moss is even able to move after the scary Alabama Slam spot moments ago that saw Moss just barely avoid paralysis.
McIntyre rams Moss into the steel steps but soon after, following even more interference from Corbin, Madcap settles back into the offensive driver's seat.
Moss' offensive control doesn't last long, however, as McIntyre shifts the momentum back in his favor. We see him hit his signature Future Shock DDT and then grab Amber the sword and keep it in hand while running and connecting with his Claymore Kick to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
Raw Women's Championship
Lita vs. Becky Lynch (C)After another quick commercial time out, we head to some video packages showing WWE personalities involved in some peripheral events and efforts that surrounded this trip to Saudi Arabia for today's Elimination Chamber show.
From there, we return inside the Jeddah Super Dome and hear the iconic sounds of Lita's theme song. The WWE Hall of Fame legend makes her way to the ring while the commentators talk about her being one of Becky Lynch's biggest inspirations in the business.

The bell sounds and we're off-and-running with this one. Lita jumps off to a good start, blasting Lynch with a shoulder tackle to knock her down to the mat. She follows up with some additional shots before the champ turns the tables and takes over the offensive control.
"The Man" continues to take it to Lita, all-the-while shouting at her and taunting her. She nails her with a big shot and questions her decision to laugh at her during the build-up to this match.
Lynch hits her float over spot off the ropes and then in Brock Lesnar fashion, announces to her that she is about to send her on a one-way trip to "Suplex City." She hits a few suplexes, however she ultimately goes for one too-many, as Lita counters her final suplex attempt with a big DDT.
Lita gets in some offense for the first time since the opening moments of the match, however her spot in the offensive driver's seat is short-lived, as Lynch takes back over. Lynch goes to work on the women's wrestling legend but then finds herself caught in a sleeper-hold.
Lynch survives the sleeper but is immediately hit afterwards with a flower bomb. The action briefly takes a detour to the floor, where Lita bounces Lynch's head off of the hard part of the ring apron.
Back inside the ring, Lita tips the cap to her longtime friend and fellow women's wrestling legend Trish Stratus, hitting one of her trademark spots. She goes for the Twist of Fate, however Lynch avoids it and shifts the momentum back in her favor.
Lynch goes for her trademark Disarm-Her submission hold but Lita defends well, so Lynch counters it into her Man-Handle Slam. She goes for the cover but Lita gets her foot on the ropes before the count of three.
Lita ends up taking back over on offense and she connects with a Twist of Fate. She heads to the top rope and hits a Lita-sault, but when she goes for the pin attempt, Lynch kicks out at two and a half.
Seconds later, Lynch hits her trademark Man-Handle Slam again, this time scoring the pinfall to retain her title in an excellent match.
With the win, Lynch moves on to defend her Raw Women's title at WrestleMania 38 against the winner of the women's Elimination Chamber match earlier this evening -- Bianca Belair.
Winner and STILL Raw Women's Champion: Becky Lynch

After it wraps up we head back inside the Jeddah Super Dome, where we hear the familiar sounds of the entrance theme of The Viking Raiders.
As Erik and Ivan make their way down to the ring, they are attacked from behind by The Usos.
Jimmy and Jey beat them down in the entrance aisle and then at ringside before leaving them laying.
The commentators then inform us of the obvious as they head to the back, which is that the SmackDown Tag-Team Championships won't be defended as scheduled as a result.

Kicking things off in the ring in our main event of the evening is Seth Rollins and Austin Theory.
The bell sounds to get this one off-and-running. The fans sing acapella to the tune of Rollins' theme as he jumps off to the offensive lead in the beginning of this bout.
Rollins hits a buckle bomb on Theory into Lashley's pod. The force of the move smashes the pod that Lashley was inside of, and takes out the champ in the process.
The clock appears and the fans count down along with it. Next in the match when the buzzer sounds is Riddle. We see doctors checking on Lashley in the background as the action continues in the ring.
The clock appears and winds down again and when the buzzer sounds this time, out comes AJ Styles. In the background, we see medics helping Lashley to the back as Cole on commentary informs us that they will try and get a medical update on his condition as soon as possible.
We see Riddle amp up on offense, and start acting like his RK-Bro teammate Randy Orton when he is entering "viper mode."
Meanwhile the clock counts down again and this time, we learn that Lashley was scheduled to enter the match at this point.
As the action resumes with no one entering during this time interval, out of nowhere, Lesnar breaks through his own pod and makes an impromptu entrance into the bout.
Immediately "The Beast Incarnate" makes his presence felt, as he takes out Rollins and pins him to eliminate him.
