Below are various news and notes coming out of last night's WWE Evolution premium live event, as per fightfulselect.com
- Jacy Jayne and Jordynne Grace both suffered some mishaps during their NXT Women's Title match. Jayne lost her voice after a spot while Grace was busted open.
- The backstage reaction to Jayne's performance as champion has been positive. Meanwhile, Grace is obviously headed into a program with the now heel Blake Monroe.
- Due to various injuries, most notably to Liv Morgan, the creative for Evolution was heavily modified in recent weeks.
- WWE sources backstage were happy with how Evolution turned out and felt that this would not be the last iteration of the all-women's event. In his post-show press conference, Triple H left the possibility open for Evolution to become an annual event.
- There were a number of staff and talent backstage who cheered when Naomi cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase and won the title.
- Seth Rollins was backstage to watch wife Becky Lynch compete. He was spotted in a knee brace and crutches and those that saw him did not come away thinking the injury was minor in nature.
- WWE is expected to use Trish Stratus in a wrestling capacity again this year and fellow Hall of Famer Nikki Bella is also a candidate to be used again, especially after her original creative was changed due to the aforementioned injuries.
