WWE Files New Trademark For Their Royal Rumble Premium Live Event

This past February 24th, WWE filed to trademark the term “Royal Rumble” with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) for merchandising purposes. Royal Rumble is an event WWE holds each year and it is one of WWE's four biggest events of the year and it also marks the beginning of the road to WrestleMania.

The 2022 WwE Royal Rumble Event took place on Saturday, January 29 at The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis, Missouri and it featured Brock Lesnar winning the Men’s Royal Rumble Match and a returning Ronda Rousey winning the Women’s Royal Rumble Match.

Below is the use description submitted to the USPTO:

“WWE ROYAL RUMBLE™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas; championship trophy belts.”
