WWE Files To Trademark Interesting Name Synonymous With Triple H


WWE recently made another call to the United States Patent & Trademark Office.

The company has been filing to trademark a number of terms, phrases and names as of late, and in a recent report at Fightful, it was noted that they recently filed yet another interesting term.

According to the report, WWE filed to trademark the term "Skull King" with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office earlier this week. The nickname is one that has been associated in the past with WWE Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development -- Paul "Triple H" Levesque.

The report states that WWE attempted to file the term on March 2 after previously attempting to copyright the term for entertainment purposes back in October of 2020.

"Mark For: SKULL KING trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands as clothing; bandanas."
