WWE Files To Trademark Name Of Upcoming WWE Live Event In The U.K.

Last April 28th, the WWE filed to trademark the term “WWE Clash At The Castle” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), just one day prior to the promotion filing to trademark the term with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) for entertainment services. WWE Clash At The Castle is WWE's first-ever major event set to take place in the U.K. in over 30 years and it will emanate from inside the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on Saturday, September 3rd.

No matches have been announced for WWE Clash At The Castle as of this writing, but stars such as "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, RAW Women's Champion Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, "The Tribal Chief" Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and WWE Hall of Famer Edge are the stars featured on the official poster, which means that they will likely be competing on the event.
