WWE Files Two More Trademarks Related To New A&E Series

Last Thursday, June 2nd, WWE filed to trademark the “WWE Legends” and “WWE Smack Talk” names with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) for entertainment services. It was previously noted that the WWE announced several weeks back that they will collaborate with A&E to release 130 hours of brand-new content and programming, which includes 24 episodes of “Most Wanted Treasures,” 35 episodes of “Biography: WWE Legends” and 40 hours of “WWE: Rivals.”

It was also reported at the time that WWE's premiere show on A&E will take place on Sunday, July 10th and will feature the a new episode of “Biography: WWE Legends” about WWE Hall of Famer and one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time "The Phenom" The Undertaker. It was also noted on a press release that the second season of “Biography: WWE Legends” as well as the first seasons of “WWE Rivals” and a new show “WWE Smack Talk” will premiere on A&E as part of their collaboration with the WWE.

“Biography: WWE Legends” will go in-depth into the lives as well as the careers of WWE Hall of Famers and legends, “WWE Rivals” will feature former WWE writer and one of Hollywood's top actors in Freddie Prinze Jr. having “a roundtable discussion of WWE luminaries” about historic rivalries, with episodes on “The Monday Night Wars,” John Cena vs. Edge and Bret “The Hitman” Hart vs. Shawn Michaels and “WWE Smack Talk” will feature WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, Peter Rosenberg and WWE talent Jackie Redmond as they break down the biggest moments from the other two WWE on A&E shows as well as other footage that has not been seen before and other unknown information.
