WWE Finalizes Extreme Rules Card; Attendance Better Than Stomping Grounds

— WWE held a meeting earlier this week to go over the Extreme Rules card and the decision was made not to add any more matches to the show, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The card stands at ten matches with one match likely to be bumped to the Kickoff Show.

— While early attendance figures for Sunday’s Extreme Rules are said to be way better than what it was for last month’s Stomping Grounds PPV, the advance for the show was weak enough that WWE was offering two-for-one tickets this past week as a way to bolster sales. In the end, while the numbers will look fine, Extreme Rules will likely come out as the lowest crowd for a PPV in Philadelphia in a long time.
