For those of you who want just the quick results and don't want the details of matches, this is a quick recap of tonight's show. There are spoilers for tonight's show below. The full results can be found right here. As a reminder, this is the go home edition of Smackdown as the Royal Rumble is less than forty-eight hours away!
Quarterly Brand-to-Brand Invitational
A new rule was announced tonight, the Quarterly Brand-to-Brand Invitational. This allows apparently unlimited stars from Raw and Smackdown to crossover at will, hence so many Raw members on tonight's show.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown Quick Recap for 1/29/2021
Matches Tonight: 6
- Bianca Belair defeated Bayley with the KOD in a solid match to start our program.
- King Corbin defeated Dominick Mysterio with the End of Days in a good, albeit short-ish match. Dom is really coming into his own and has a lot of potential.
- In singles competition, Daniel Bryan defeated AJ Styles by disqualification when Sami Zayn attacked Daniel Bryan.
- In six-man tag action, Daniel Bryan, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Big E defeated Cesaro, Sami Zayn and AJ Styles by disqualification when the Miz & Morrison attacked the faces.
- In nine-man tag action, Daniel Bryan, Shinsuke Nakamura, Big E, and Otis fought against Cesaro, AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, the Miz & Morrison until...
- ...Sheamus ran out and it became a ten-man match that saw the team of Daniel Bryan, Shinsuke Nakamura, Big E, Otis and Sheamus win.
Miscellaneous Non-Match Segments of Note:
- Quarterly Brand-to-Brand Invitational: was announced tonight, as AJ Styles invoked it to face Daniel Bryan in a match. Not many details were given other than it allows any superstar from any show to crossover. Your guess is as good as mine.
- Due to the aforementioned rule, multiple Raw stars were on the program tonight.
- Braun Strowman returned at the end of the program, saving Sheamus and his allies and powerslamming all the heels.
- The "War of Words" between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens was entertaining.
- It is worth noting that Daniel Bryan was in what amounts to four matches over 40-45 minutes.
