WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg Provides An Update On His Knee Injury Ahead Of Crown Jewel

WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg took on then-WWE Champion "The All Mighty" Bobby Lashley in a matchup this past August at the WWE SummerSlam PPV Event for the WWE Title. The matchup ended via referee stoppage after Lashley attacked Goldberg's knee and left him battered and bruised.

After the match, Lashley continued his attack on Goldberg's knee by hitting it with a steel chair and this would lead to the WWE Hall of Famer’s 15-year-old son Gage trying to help his dad when he jumped on the back of The All Mighty, but would be put in a Hurt Lock, with the WWE Hall of Famer looking on with rage.

Goldberg recently appeared on the CarCast podcast and provided an update on his knee injury before he faces Lashley at the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel Event in Saudi Arabia.

Goldberg said:

“Knee’s much better.” “Hopefully it’ll be — I won’t be completely healed by then [Crown Jewel] but it’ll be, suffice to say, in good enough shape to kick Bobby [Lashley’s] ass. Let’s just say that.”

Goldberg previously spoke about how he had suffered ligament damage and would be needing knee surgery as soon as possible, but he doesn't really care as all he currently cares about is what he will do to Lashley for what he did to Goldberg's son at SummerSlam, so now he won't be coming for the WWE Title, he will be coming for Lashley’s soul.

Goldberg said:

“Well, I got ligament damage and I have an impending knee surgery.” “Does that answer your question? I really don’t care. But what I do care about is that dirty son of a b—h Bobby Lashley, and what he did to my son at SummerSlam.”

“I just left the house, Gage’s shoulder is all jacked up, his neck hurts. God knows what a dude that size could’ve done to my son. So, the objective has changed. I’m not coming for the WWE Championship, I’m coming for Bobby Lashley’s soul, and I will rip it straight from his chest.”

Goldberg is set to take on "The All Mighty" Bobby Lashley in a No Holds Barred Match at the WWE Crown Jewel Event in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, October 21st.
