WWE Hall of Famer Headed to St. Louis; Expected to be Part of Royal Rumble Weekend

-- WWE Legend and Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is headed to St. Louis this weekend - the site of Saturday's Royal Rumble PPV. While it's not confirmed that he will be part of the Rumble PPV itself, fightfulselect.com reports that there have been discussions about Angle returning to WWE in some sort of an on-screen role. WWE also has several community events and content for shows to fill in St. Louis, which Angle is expected to be a part of. He also is part of Conrad Thompson's network or podcasts and they are running live shows this weekend in the area too, however, it is not expected that he's there for anything related to the podcasts but rather specifically for WWE in some capacity.

-- Angle last wrestled for WWE in 2019 and at that time, choosing to retire after feeling his body couldn't perform at the level he expects. His WWE legends deal kicked in at that point and he made a few more appearances but was released in 2020 though has continued to do work for WWE on and off since then.
