WWE Hall of Famer JBL Makes Surprise Appearance At TNA Emergence; Alisha Edwards Knocked Out

Former WWE star and Hall of Famer JBL made his TNA Wrestling debut at Friday’s TNA Emergence, continuing a recent trend of him appearing at non-WWE events in surprise fashion.

Following TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth’s successful title defense over Josh Alexander in the 60-minute Iron Man match main event, JBL came out from the back to stare down Nemeth, whisper something to him in the ring before leaving.

JBL also recently appeared for GCW by taking out Effy in a four-way ladder match last week and then prior to that, he also showed up at AAA Triplemania where he accompanied Nemeth to the ring in his match against Alberto El Patron.

Meanwhile, Alisha Edwards is reportedly alright after being legitimately knocked out during a women’s trios match.

In the opening minutes of a match featuring Edwards, Masha Slamovich & Ash by Elegance going up against Jordynne Grace, Dani Luna & Jody Threat, Grace threw Threat first and then Luna onto the heels at which point Edwards got knocked out. Grace was ready to dive onto Edwards but paused as no one was there to catch her for the spot. Edwards didn’t get up afterwards as the other women tried to help her up, presumably without knowing she was unconscious. It was later reported that Edwards was doing okay backstage, but TNA posted that she has been placed in the concussion protocol.
