It was previously reported that WWE legend and 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena may be on his way back to the company on the July 16 episode of SmackDown and that Cena is even rumored to confront WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle took to his Twitter and teased he could come out of retirement to battle John Cena. While reacting to the rumors of Cena's potential WWE return, Angle tweeted the popular “So you’re telling me there’s a chance” GIF from Jim Carrey's Dumb and Dumber, with the caption, "Hearing rumors about @JohnCena going back to @wwe – got me rethinking about my retirement match, like…………"
After losing to King Corbin at WrestleMania 35, Kurt Angle retired from pro wrestling.
