WWE Hall Of Famer Paul Orndorff’s Son Troy Orndorff Says His Father Has Dementia Due To CTE

As previously reported, Troy Orndorff, son of WWE Hall of Famer "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff, posted a video of his father's awful health condition on YouTube about one month ago that shows the WWE Hall of Famer in a medical facility. An update was then provided, where it was revealed that Paul's health condition has become worst and not only is he dealing with cancer, which he was diagnosed of in 2011, the WWE Hall of Famer is also dealing with a number of other health issues.

Troy Orndorff recently took to his Instagram, where he revealed that his father has dementia and that it is due to the effects of CTE. CTE is a fatal brain disease that an individual gets due to repeated traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), which includes concussions and repeated blows to the head, but it is something that can only be diagnosed when a person passes away, though Troy Orndorff believes his dad became the way he is due to the blows he took when he was a professional wrestler.

Paul Orndorff's son also revealed that the day he posted the video was the first time he has seen his father in a year due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Troy Orndorff said:

“This is real! Keep him in your prayers. Please share this video. CTE is real. This is the reality for many of our childhood heroes. Thank you for the amazing support and messages. They will get shared with my father on my next visit.”

“After getting vaccinated, got to see my dad for the first time in a year. Still did not remember me but he’s not in bad spirits. Don’t kid yourself…concussion syndrome is real!!!! Haircut and shave coming next week.”

A GoFundMe Campaign was set up to help save Paul Orndorff's home from foreclosure back in 2018 and he seemed to be happy and cheerful at the time, but one can only hope for the WWE Hall of Famer's speedy recovery as he is clearly currently dealing with serious medical issues.
