According to F4W Online's Daily Update, WWE Hall of Famer JBL has had discussions with the ICP-run promotion, Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW), about becoming a full-time performer on their weekly television show. While the report does not provide further details, JBL is scheduled to appear at the promotion’s Stranglemania event on April 17th at the Horseshoe Casino in Las Vegas during WrestleMania week.
The report also mentions that ECW alumnus Joel Gertner and former WCW announcer Scott Hudson will be joining the company. Additionally, WWE alumnus Jonathan Coachman is set to be a regular on the show. EC3 will also start as a full-time performer for JCW on February 27th, taking on a new gimmick.
Since 2024, JBL has made several appearances outside of WWE, including stints in TNA, GCW, MLW, and AAA. He revealed last summer that there were initial plans for him to undertake more work with TNA, including appearances at Slammiversary and through the end of the year, but those plans were eventually scrapped by someone who is no longer with the company.
Recently, Juggalo Championship Wrestling has strengthened its writing staff by adding the ever-controversial Vince Russo to the team.
