The main event of last night's episode of AEW Dynamite saw Chris Jericho go up against MJF in the 5th and final chapter of the 5 Labours Of Jericho Matchup, in which MJF secured a submission victory over Chris Jericho by locking in the Fujiwara Armbar on Jericho's injured elbow. The match stipulation had prevented Jericho from using his Judas Effect finishing move and from making his way down to the ring with his “Judas” theme music.
Prior to last night's 5 Labours Of Jericho Chapter 5 Matchup, Jericho defeated Shawn Spears, Juventud Guerrera, Nick Gage and Wardlow to get an opportunity to face MJF, but he unfortunately came up short in his attempt to defeat his arch rival.
Speaking of the Chris Jericho vs. MJF Match, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair took to his Twitter and gave high praises to both Jericho and MJF for what they were able to accomplish in the matchup, while also telling them that they made the pro wrestling business better for everyone and they made him proud as this is what the greats in the business do.
According to recent reports, it is "a lock" that WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is headed to AEW.
