-- After several months of canceling live events due to the COVID-19 pandemic, WWE has begun planning to bring them back by the end of the summer, according to a report by pwinsider.com. Some officials within the company are even hoping to run house shows at the WWE Performance Center by August, however, the "entire pricess is described as being very day-to-day" with plans changing quickly. Either way, whenever the company is able to resume holding live events, there will be guidelines such as social distancing to follow as well as other issues to contend with like an increase in infections and differing regulations in different states.
-- Last month, the WrestleVotes account also noted that the company has begun formulating a plan for live events but that nothing is really expected to include fans until at least July.
I’m hearing that internally the WWE live event schedule is slowly being rebuilt. I’m still not expecting anything with fans prior to July, however. Discussions about ticket sales going forward have also begun, with social distancing guildlines remaining in place. That’s tricky.
