Former multi-time WWE women's tag team champion Kairi Sane was one of the wrestlers who were released last week and her departure elicited arguably the biggest negative reaction amongst fans.
WWE has changed their mind in the past after fan backlash to releases and so a rumor yesterday picked up steam that WWE had decided to rescind Sane's release and instead were looking to bring her back to the company - perhaps as early as tonight's Raw. PWInsider is reporting those reports are false and Sane is still gone.
The report added that there has been no change to her status despite the backlash and that Sane in fact has gone back home to Japan so the chances of her appearing on tonight's episode are pretty much zero.
