WWE Injury Update On Stephanie Vaquer; Note On Talla Tonga's Recent Absence

Two WWE superstars appear to be banged up and below are quick injury updates on their situation:

  • Stephanie Vaquer was involved in an injury angle on last night's WWE Raw where she was taken out by both Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez where they attacked her shoulder. Later in the show, WWE commentator Michael Cole revealed that Vaquer sustained a "second degree AC sprain" and would be sidelined for "a bit."
  • Bryan Alvarez of f4wonline.com reports that Vaquer is legitimately injured and most likely the sprain is accurate but it's not clear when she actually injured herself. Interestingly, prior to her WrestleMania match against Liv Morgan, Vaquer went on record to state that she was healthy but then a report emerged following the match that WWE kept it short to protect Morgan and Vaquer, both of whom were said to be banged up.
  • Talla Tonga has been out of action since before WrestleMania 42, last wrestling on the Smackdown before the show in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He wasn't on Smackdown last week nor was he mentioned, which immediately generated rumors that he may have been one of the releases that WWE initiated last week. Alvarez noted that Tonga is out with an undisclosed injury, hasn't been released and is expected back fairly soon, implying that the injury is not serious in nature.
