A championship match has been announced for the post-WWE TLC 2020 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
During tonight's WWE TLC 2020 year-end pay-per-view event, the company announced that Sami Zayn will be defending his WWE Intercontinental Championship in a one-on-one showdown against Big E.
The two squared off in a brief backstage segment during the WWE TLC 2020 PPV, where Zayn accused Big E. and WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth of being behind the leaked audio of him.
The segment led to the announcement of a Sami Zayn vs. Big E. showdown on the Friday, December 25, 2020 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, which will be the special Christmas Day episode of the weekly blue brand show on FOX.
