During a pre-produced vignette that aired on Smackdown recently, Butch noted that the "Brawling Brutes" was a thing of the past while Tyler Bate, who accompanied him, noted that Butch had to make a name for himself. As it turns out, there is likely a good reason for these hints.
-- Fightfulselect.com is reporting that WWE is planning on changing Butch's name back to Pete Dunne - something that has been rumored for a while - with one source saying "it's exactly what it looks like" (will happen). The report adds that when the name change originally happened from Dunne to Butch in 2022, it received heavy pushback within WWE.
