Before show notes
-Before the show they played a ESPN like video going over the matches confirmed tonight.
-They announced there would be a dark match main event.
During commercial break notes
Throughout the show there were 3 interviews in the crowd with 3 wrestlers.
-Bayley: Brought up her busy week the week before of flying all around to do Raw, NXT, celebrity all star basketball game, vengeance day and then raw
-Dakota Kai on her becoming #1 contender for woman's IC title
-Ludwig Keiser on getting involved in the Penta/Dunn match
Late in the show they showd Theory and Waller in the crowd near the announce desk. They get into a war of words with Pat McAfee both sides trading insults. Best was Waller telling McAfee "Like the Charlotte Hornets he has one ball and no championships". McAfee brings up what happened at Vengeance Day and his history with Theory before segment ends.
Post show
When Rollins and Balor left the area after their main event Cody Rhodes' music hits (Lillian forgot to say American Nightmare)., followed by Carmelo Hayes'.

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes (c) vs Carmelo Hayes
Typical dark match. Match starts with Hayes being the heel tries to get a reaction from the crowd by posing on turnbuckles but of course gets boos. Cody climbs on one to get cheers before Hayes attacks him from behind. Some spots here and there during match with it going back and forth. Match ends with Cody hitting the Cody Cutter, and then 3 consecutive Cross Rhodes to get the 1...2...3.
Winner and still champion: Cody Rhodes
After the match when Hayes leaves the ring, Cody gets on the mic. He mentions he is billed from Alanta, GA but he was born in Charlotte, NC in a hospital down the road from the arena. He then asks Lillian to redo his intro with a tweak to where he's from. Which Lillian announces:
"From Charlotte, NC, he's the undisputed wwe champion, The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes"
Cody then says he's gonna give away his weight belt. But unlike how he usually does he's gonna give it to the fan who makes the most noise. So for a minute the crowd erupts hoping to get it. In the end he picks a little girl who he brings into the ring to give the belt and her a hug before giving her back to her parents.
Cody then says he will sign autographs and take photos for as long as he can till he is kicked out, so of course he wont be able to do everyone.
Show officially ends with Cody signing and taking pictures as the crowd leaves around 10:45
