There's a cool spot where Reginald backflips to the ringside floor right as Jax & Baszler slide into the ring. They're all in the ringing arguing when they're interrupted by Alexa Bliss and Lily, swinging on their set at the top of the ramp. Backstage: the New Day
The New Day are talking in the back when Riddle rolls up. He informs them that he 's finished filling out the tag team application form they gave him and he's super excited to officially be a tag team. Kofi continues their trolling of Riddle, telling him that only official tag teams do the form, unlike the fakes out there. They then try to decide on what to do to Omos. Riddle suggests another attack of the killer Bromatoes. Riddle begins talking about Omos when Kofi and Xavier get quiet. Without turning, Riddle asks if there's a big tall giant behind him. They shy back and shake their heads no, and the camera pans to show Randy Orton! He tells Riddle that this is no laughing matter. Orton ends careers, kills legends, and walks off. Riddle excitedly tells him he'll see him later and we go to break.
Backstage: MVP and Braun Strowman
MVP stands outside Braun Strowman's locker room and taps with his cane. After some hesitation, he enters the locker room. MVP is told to leave, but MVP wants to talk business. He says that, hypothetically, if Lashley were to drop the title, he'd want to drop it to the Monster Among Men. And if Drew were injured tonight and didn't make it to Sunday, it wouldn't be a triple threat match. MVP asks Braun what he thinks of it. Braun replies that he doesn't like MVP. MVP can understand that, but no accord is met in this parlay.
Video Package: Miz, Morrion, Damian Priest
Starting with clips from last Monday's match between Morrison and Priest, which has led to Priest versus the Miz this Sunday in an effort to end this feud.
Backstage: Adam Pearce, Damian Priest, the Miz & Morrison
Priest is talking to Pearce when the others walk up. Morrison calls himself the "moistest wrestler" around, and Pearce and Priest question, "what?" After some banter, Priest offers a proposal--if John Morrison defeats Damian Priest tonight, the Miz can pick the stipulation for their match this Sunday. And if Damian Priest wins, he gets to pick. The Miz starts to say something about not leaving things in the hands of--Morrison interrupts, not noticing the slight, and accepts for the Miz.

Backstage: Various Superstars
We see Sonya Deville & Charlotte Flair speak but we can't hear them as our commentary speculates on what it's about. We cut to Elias and Ryker; Ryker has a basket full of "stinky rotten tomatoes". AJ Styles and Omos come up and ask them what the hell they're doing. Ryker points out the tomatoes are revenge, and Elias wants to sing a song he wrote them. AJ stops him and tells them to take things more seriously. Omos, holding a tomato, says "this is going to be our opponents" and squeezes it.
Eight-Man Tag Match: R-K-Bro & the New Day vs Elias, Jaxson Ryker, AJ Styles & Omos
Out first is the original Bro, which means its time for a commercial break. When we return, and after a quick video hyping McIntyre vs Lashley later tonight, we find Riddle still alone in the ring dancing to his music. Out next is Randy Orton, to be followed by the New Day, Elias & Jaxson Ryker, and AJ Styles and Omos. The four heels make their way down the ramp together to AJ's music. We're reminded Omos is 7'3, nearly 400lbs. Saxton expects Omos to dominate, and Graves says the last time he saw something as big as Omos, it was in a museum. We start with Elias and Riddle. Both circle before Riddle immediately goes for the legs. Riddle takes Elias to the mat and puts Elias in an arm submission. Elias escapes and tags in Ryker. Ryker comes in but Riddle handles him with a few kicks. Riddle yells for him to come on. Omos tags himself in and enters. Riddle charges, attempting some form of offense, but it's futile as Omos shrugs it all off. Kofi enters and gets a huge headbutt from Omos for his efforts. Omos throws Riddle out the ring. Orton rolls into the ring, knelt, and Omos turns to look. Orton thinks twice about the surprise RKO he had planned, and rolls out the ring. We go to break.
Back from break Styles is in control. Kofi and Xavier use tags to double-team Styles. Xavier Woods runs against the ropes while Kofi makes the blind tag. AJ takes a springboard spear. Ryker takes Woods to the corner and stomps away at his face as the ref and Riddle yell at him. Ryker tags in Elias. Elias with a spinebuster and a close two. Woods reaches for a tag but Elias keeps him just out of range. Orton and Riddle are up on the apron; Kofi's still down. Elias takes Woods over to his corner. Woods tries to punch out of it but Elias takes him down with a big slam and covers for two. Ryker is tagged back in and stomps Woods. Ryker with a rear chinlock submission. Woods gets his body off the ground just enough to convert the hold into a jawbreaker/stunner of sorts. Woods still can't reach his corner and is kept in the heel corner. Series of quick tags as Ryker and Elias work together to wear down Woods. Elias hits a spinning suplex drop and covers for a close two. Elias with a rear chinlock submission of his own. The digital crowd tries to fire up Woods. Elias fails to contain Woods, who tags in Riddle. Riddle attempts to clear house, sending Ryker and AJ down to the floor. Riddle takes it to Elias and connects with a Bro-Derek on Elias. Omos hits the ring to make the save. Riddle is sent to the outside by this human colossus. The New Day grab AJ Styles by a leg each, outside on the floor, and begin to run circles, spinning him. Omos heads out the ring to save his friend. This allows Riddle to make the hot tag to Randy Orton. Orton come sin and hits the RKO right away to pick up the win.
Your Winners, the New Day & R-K-Bro
After the Match
For absolutely no reason other than he can, Orton hits the RKO on both members of the New Day. Riddle yells at him, "You can't keep doing this man" and complains he can't make friends this way. Orton heads up the ramp with his wicked grin as we get replays.
Backstage: Sonya Deville, Raw Women's Champion Rhea Ripley, and Asuka
Rhea is shown in the back with Sonya, questioning her about her connection with Flair. Sonya downplays it. Asuka comes up and gets involved, and accepts a challenge against Ripley tonight because "I am ready for Rhea!" Ripley reminds Asuka that she beat her at WrestleMania.
Backstage: The Almighty WWE Champion Bobby Lashley & MVP
Lashley's standing there, silent, constipated. An interviewer enters their locker and asks Lashley about McIntyre and the match tonight. MVP calls him rude for just walking into their locker room, not even knocking. Lashley promises to leave this weekend, still the champ, and both MVP and Lashley refuse to comment on business issues--when the interviewer asks them about possibly a coalition with Strowman, MVP quickly sends him off.
Match: United States Champion Sheamus vs Humberto Carrillo
Sheamus comes out and we go to break. He's still doing the open challenge (non-title only) so his opponent is TBD. Back from the break. Sheeamus babbles on, as he does every week, reminding us that he's been encouraged to issue an open challenge for his United States title every week on Raw. Pearce apparently told Sheamus that he could follow in the footsteps of many legends who've held the title before him. SHeamus bursts out laughing, insulting past champions and exclaiming that he's going to be better than them. He addresses his opponent tonight, Humberto Carrillo, and makes a deal--if Carrillo wins, he can have a title shot. The bell rings and Sheamus takes down Carrillo with a side headlock. Humberto with one of his own. Sheamus whips Humberto into the ropes and drops him with a shoulder tackle. Humberto attempts to step up the pace but Sheamus continues to control Humberto. After a couple long moments of Sheamus in control, Carrillo attempts to fight back. Sheamus shuts it down, though, and whips Carrillo into the desk as we go to break.
When we return from break Sheamus is still firmly in control. Sheamus slips fingers in Carrillo's cheeks, pulling them back in a weird Jack Nicholson's Joker-kind-of-way. Carrillo survives slam after slam, managing to kick out in each attempt. Sheamus takes Carrillo up to his shoulders and climbs the middle rope. Carrillo fights back and converts it into a Hurricanrana off the top rope! Sheamus rolls to the apron to gather himself. Carrillo comes over, attempts to pull Sheamus up, and gets a hard chest slap for it. Sheamus, still on the apron, attempts the Ten Beats of the Bodhran but Carrillo escapes. Sheamus looks for a shoulder thrust but Humberto flips over the rope, taking them both down with a powerbomb to the ringside area that was horribly botched. Humberto Carrillo has been injured in this match. The ref exits the ring and the camera comes off of him as we see replays, in which the powerbomb didn't spin enough, causing Sheamus' full weight to drop on Humberto's knee. The ref ends the match. As Carrillo could not finish the fight, Sheamus gets the win.
Your Winner, Sheamus!
Video Promo: Eva Marie
We get the Eva Marie video promo, in which she wears a low-cut black vinyl outfit and lays on a sports car. She tells us that she wants to be someone that others look up to, and she wants to influence others to go after their own ambitions. So she's back to help.
Match: Cedric Alexander vs Shelton Benjamin
Alexander is out first as we head to break. When we return, Benjamin is the next man out. I know, I didn't expect that either! When the bell rings, Cedric yells "I'm gonna punish you on every level, remember that!" They both lock up before separating. Cedric continues to talk smack to Benjamin, insulting the veteran's age and career. Cedric bounces off the ropes and takes Shelton down. Shelton attempts to reverse Cedric's lock into a move but Cedric lays him out again. Alexander with a rear naked choke, briefly, before outright choking Shelton. The ref yells at Cedric, who exclaims, "What? It's legal!" Benjamin struggles and turns over, converting it into a modified Sharpshooter and forcing Cedric to break. Alexander with a big shot to Benjamin's injured knee. Alexander with a basement dropkick that sends Shelton out of the ring. Shelton yells "Oh, baby!" and runs across the ring to hit a suicide dive that smashes roughly into the barricade. Cedric looks to go for a suicide dive again but Benjamin counters with a leaping knee. Benjamin goes back into the ring with Cedric, who immediately takes control. Cedric yells at Shelton that he's better than Shelton. Alexander wastes a lot of time yelling for the announce team to call him the best there is. Cedric with small, soft kicks to Shelton, mocking him as he yells for him to get up. His arrogance is his downfall as the veteran immediately counters a kick into the T-Bone Suplex to pick up the win!
Your Winner, Shelton Benjamin!
Promo: Drew Gulak, Angel Garza, and a Rose
We get clips from last week, in which Angel Garza promised to shove a rose up Drew Gulak's butt. Later in their match, he did shove the rose down Gulak's pants and kicked him in the butt, leading Adnan Virk to believe the rose went up Drew's butt. Backstage, Angel is posing with a rose for a photographer. Gulak confronts him and this is kinda awkward, as Gulak didn't appreciate Garza violating him, and I'm just gonna shut up. Garza threatened to shove it up Gulak's butt again tonight. That's all you need to know.
Non-Title Match: Raw Women's Champion vs Asuka
When we return, Asuka and Rhea are ready to go. Both women lock up and the powerhouse Rhea pushes back into the corner easily. We're reminded that this is Asuka's second match of the night. She does this twice more, before looking possibly for the Riptide. The action spills to the ringside area. Asuka's looking for the Asuka lock but Ripley uses her sheer strength to whip Asuka off of her. Asuka rolls outside to catch her breath. Your Winner, Raw Women's Champion Rhea Ripley!
Backstage Interview: Drew McIntyre
Kevin or Keith, whatever his name is, asks Drew why he got involved last week. Drew claims he didn't mean to get involved. He talks circles--he should be a politician--and spends two minutes to essentially say he'll be WWE Champion again come Sunday night.

In Closing
That does it for tonight's Raw! This past Friday, I incorrectly reported that WrestleMania: BackLash was to take place yesterday night. I'd suffered a concussion that morning and didn't have all my marbles (when do I ever?)--the event is this Sunday at 7 eastern! And if it makes you feel any better, I spent half an hour trying to find it on Peacock before realizing it's next week. Y'all have a great evening and I'll see you here tomorrow for NXT!
