WWE Monday Night Raw Live Results (5/18/2020) - Performance Center, Orlando, FL

Hello and welcome all to Rajah's live coverage of WWE Monday Night Raw! Tonight features the debut Raw live results coverage of yours truly, Mike "Hulk" Hogan. You know, they say all reporters are created equal. You know, if you go one-on-one with another reporter, you got a 50-50 chance of winnin'. But I'm a literary freak, and I'm not normal, so you've got a 25% at best at beatin' me! And then you add the comments to the mix? Your chances of winning drastically go down! See the results coverage at Rajah, you got a 33 1/3 chance of getting great results. But I got a 66 2/3 chance of embettering results, 'cause you know I take my vitamins and say my prayers. So readers, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25 percent chance, and you got an 8 1/3 chance of winnin' them results. If we was to go mano a mano, and to add 66 2/3 percents, I got a 141 2/3 chance of writing results at Raw. See, brother, the numbers don't lie and they spell words!

With that said, gear up, get your snacks, put on some mood music, because we are only forty minutes away from the launch of Monday Night Raw right here on Rajah.com!

WWE Monday Night Raw Live Results (5/18/2020) - Performance Center, Orlando, FL

We're treated to a nice video package, showcasing Becky Lynch's decision last Monday to step away from wrestling to pursue motherhood. Very well done, very emotional, and we wish her the best in her future motherly endeavors. We've got Tom Phillips and Samoa Joe on commentary tonight.

We start the show with word that Smackdown's King Corbin will take on Drew McIntyre in a cross-brand match, all that is ahead!

Randy Orton Interview in the Ring

Charly Caruso recaps Orton's challenge last week to Edge, and calls out the Viper himself to get his thoughts. Randy makes his way out and immediately gets into recapping their WrestleMania match, in which both men tore the building apart.

Orton goes on to give Edge props for being the better man at WrestleMania, but reaffirms his belief that the better wrestler is Orton. RKO addresses Edge personally, stating "I know why you didn't accept my challenge last Monday Night on Raw. I saw it written all over your face. I saw it in your eyes. Wanna know what I saw? Doubt. I saw doubt. Your grit and passion have faded away, its gone. And what once was grit and passion is now just doubt. And fear."

You think you know me! Alter Bridge's "Metallingus" announces that the Rated R superstar, Edge himself, is here! He makes his way to the ring. "You know Randy, you spoke a lot of truths last week. A lot to chew on. I know what you're doing, Randy, you're playing a game of chess. But that's all this is to you. A game, right? Yeah. You stand there with that stupid, smug smirk. This is just a paycheck to you. I get it. I've said it before, I'll say it again. You're quite possibly the most talented person I've ever seen in a wrestling ring. But this isn't the life you wanted. This is the life you were handed. This is your backup plan. You're different than all those wrestlers in the locker room. Because you don't care. You don't go to bed every night dreaming of becoming the WWE champion LIKE I DID. You didn't cry the night you won the Intercontinental Championship like I DID. In fact, I beat you for that title." Edge continues to go on, pointing out that it took him nine years to get back to this spot. He flat out states that Orton doesn't care about wrestling the way the others in the back due.

Orton tells him enough, and asks if Edge accepts the challenge. Edge yells yes, he accepts the damn challenge! Orton slithers out the room as Edge's theme plays and the announcers mention this is now official!

Recap From Last Week

We see the tag match between Murphy & Seth versus Aleister Black and Rey. The announcers point out that Seth absolutely snapped and damaged Rey's eye by scraping his face against the steel steps. We then see a scene from backstage after Raw, where Aleister attacked Murphy.

Backstage with Seth & Murphy

The Monday Night Messiah tells Murphy that he's got a revelation, and wants to share it with the world. We'll find out next as we cut to commercial!

Still to come on Monday Night Raw, the Iiconics take on Women's Tag Team champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in a title match!

Monday Night Messiah in the Ring

Murphy escorts out Seth Rollins, looking like the proud dad in a dapper dan 'do. The announcers want to see an apology from Rollins to Rey for his actions last week, but we shall see. Murphy and Rollins hug it out in the ring before Seth addresses us.

"Sometimes in life, you have to lose who you are to truly find yourself. Now, when I lost to Drew McIntyre at Money in the Bank, part of me believed I had lost everything. I fell into a dark place, a place so dark I wasn't sure if I'd ever escape. But without darkness, there can be no light. And I have seen the light, and I have seen it brighter than I have ever seen it before! And that is all thanks to one man--that is thanks to Rey Mysterio. Now, what happened to Rey Mysterio has been described by some as...heinous, and disgusting, and unforgiveable. And it has been described by others as an act of penance. Paid to me, for Rey Mysterio's disbelief in the Monday Night Messiah, but I don't see it that way at all. The way I see it, what happened to Rey Mysterio was...unfortunate. But necessary. A sacrifice for the greater good. it was the cathartic moment that I needed, for the clarity that I needed for the leader i was meant to be. So I want to take this moment to speak to Rey Mysterio directly: Rey, I know you're at home with your family right now, and I know you're healing. And I know you can't see it right now, but soon enough you will come to understand that what happened to you was a blessing in disguise. So I want to say this to you now, from the bottom of my heart, so when we meet face to face again it doesn't have to be said: Rey Mysterio, you're welcome."

We're interrupted by Humberto Carillo's music, and he comes out on the mic. He calls Rey his idol, and tells Seth that he's a coward, then slides into the ring. Seth tells Humberto that he appreciates his coming out to stand up for Rey Mysterio, a legend, a great human being. He ten tells Humberto that he, Seth, clearly is not dressed for a fight. Murphy, however, has a fight later on with Aleister Black and he is dressed for the occassion, and would be happy to oblige.

The announcers wonder if we could have a match right here, right now, between Humberto Carrillo and Murphy--and we'll find out after the break!

Back From the Break

We get a reminder that it's a Champion versus Champion match between Bayley and Charlotte Flair this Friday on Smackdown, and the Intercontinental Championship tournament continues with AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura!

Murphy vs. Humberto Carrillo

We join this match already in progress. Both men are utilizing their fast-paced skillset, dodging, ducking, dipping, diving and dodging before Murphy finally takes control. Murphy locks in the headlock, slowing the pace and attempting to wear Humberto down. Humberto makes it to his feet and hits a jaw breaker. Humberto takes control, hitting a hard kick before hitting a springboard single kick to send Murphy to the outside! Humberto lunges over and takes Murphy down to the ground, before sending Murphy back into the ring. Humberto goes to the top rope but is distracted by Seth. Humberto goes flying, but Murphy reverses it into a Murphy's Law! One, two, three!
Your Winner, Murphy!

After the Match

Murphy continues the attack on Humberto, sending Humberto face first into the steel steps.

We hear Aleister Black's music and he charges the ring, fired up! He chases Murphy into the ring and delivers a series of kicks before attempting the Black Mass, only for Murphy to escape to the outside. Aleister checks on Humberto as we cut to the back!

Backstage

King Corbin chews out a ref and another official--there are finger print smudges on his crown, the food isn't up to his standard, he wants a better private locker room. He then tells the ref that "we're gonna talk about what you're gonna do in the match tonight..." as we fade to commercial!

Liv Morgan Vignette

Liv Morgan lets us know her intentions to take on the Queen and become a world women's champion.

The Queen in the Ring

Woooooo! Charlotte Flair makes her way to the ring as we see clips from last Friday Night's Smackdown, where Bayley talks trash to Charlotte only to have Charlotte point out Banks is why Bayley is champ. Bayley challenges Flair to a Champion vs Champion match this Friday, which Charlotte accepts before asking Sasha Banks if she's happy being a lackey!

Back in the ring, the Queen addresses us. She doesn't want to bore us with how she's the hardest worker on all three brands, the face of Raw, a mentor on NXT and the baddest woman on Smackdown. Charlotte is excited for Friday as she'll get a chance to teach Bayley that there are 'levels' to being a champion. She then calls Ruby Riott to come out to the ring, as she knows Ruby has some things to say to her.

Riott's music kicks in and Ruby makes her way down to the ring, looking as scrappy as a ferret as ever. Tom Phillips points out this could be a heck of an opportunity for Ruby Riott.

Ruby Riott steps up face to face with the queen--they're facing off next! Also tonight: The Street Profits take on the Viking Raiders in an Axe-Throwing Contest.

We head to commercial, with a reminder that Undertaker: The Last Ride is on the WWE Network!

Ruby Riott vs Charlotte Flair

We're back from break and this match is underway! Flair is under full control and chops Ruby, then sends her to the outside. Flair hits another chop. She goes fir a third but Ruby docks, causing Flair to chop the ring post. The ref keeps counting as both women struggle outside. Flair grabs Riott's hair and hair mat slams her to the ground. Flair takes the action back into the ring and is in firm control. She works Riott over in the corner with more Flair chops. Ruby manages a counter, slamming Charlotte face-first into the middle turnbuckle before going up top and landing a modified splash onto Charlotte. Ruby attempts a pin but it's broken up. Flair mounts some offense before Ruby sends Flair to the mat and locks Flair's left arm in between her legs and goes to bend the wrist back. Charlotte does her best to block that submission, flipping Riott over and down to the mat, before landing several kicks to Riott's midsection.

Ruby gets to her feet and goes for the Riott Kick but Flair catches it, stomps Ruby into the mat, and slaps on the Figure Eight for the win!
Your winner, Charlotte Flair!

Bobby Lashley & MVP Backstage

Charlie wants to interview Bobby backstage, but MVP interrupts. MVP informs Bobby that it's been thirteen years since Bobby's had a chance to fight for a championship, and then tries reverse psychology, stating Bobby doesn't need a title with all those trophies to slap over his shoulders...and that trophy wife! Lashley starts to object, but MVP interrupts again and asks one simple question--when is Lashley going to start thinking about Lashley?

We're treated to the usual "one night only" WWE Shop ad and head to commercials! A quick shout-out to the best chef I know, a great father & family man and my favorite brother, Rock! Welcome to the Live Results world!

A Quick Thank You

From all of us at Rajah, we want to thank all of the first responders, front line workers, medical professionals--everyone out there putting your lives on the line for us! Thank you!

Announcer's Booth

Bryon Saxton, Samoa Joe, and Tom Phillips take us back to last week's basketball game between the Viking Raiders and the Street Profits. The Profits think they've won in dominant fashion, only for the Viking Raiders to reveal that they let the Profits win. Ivar takes multiple shots from all over the court and gets nothing but net! "We've told you...anything you can do, we can do better!" This is followed by the big man, Ivar, going airborne and dunking it as the Profits look on in shock! Later tonight--an Axe Throwing match between these two rivals!

Earlier Today, Axe Throwing

The Street Profits are walking through a grassy knoll, eager to throw some axes, before coming across a Viking encampment. The Viking Raiders music plays as the Raiders point to a campfire in the middle of their tents, surrounded by vikings, and give the Profits "the smoke."

Ivar starts the action off, tossing an axe and hitting center of target. Montez wants to forfeit, but they decide they've "got this."

In the Ring with Kairi Sane

Kairi and Tom Phillips announce this is the era of Miss Money in the Bank, the new WWE Raw Women's Champion, Asuka! Her music plays and the new champ makes her way down to the ring! The ring and ringside area are decorated with lots of balloons and flowers!

Asuka gets a mic, bear with me! "Kairi! Arigato, thank you! Kairi! (unintelligible). Arigato! (unintelligible) Mother! I'm so happy! Thank you! (unintelligble) Raw Women's Champion!" Kairi tells Asuka it's all about her, because she's been the NXT Women's Champion, the Smackdown Women's Champion, the WWE Women's Champion, and now the Raw Women's Champion! Kairi then tells Asuka she's the Grand Slam Champion, and both women celebrate excitedly!

Kairi pulls out a flute and begins to play as both women dance to it, only to have their celebration interrupted by Nia Jax!

Nia Jax: "Seriously? Seriously? There's nothing to celebrate, you were handed--literally handed--the Raw Women's championship by Becky Lynch since she couldn't fight anymore. Let me break it down for you, Asuka, Becky is on maternity leave, which means you were handed the luckiest temp job in history." She then goes on to threaten Asuka, stating that she'll be taking the title from Asuka. But Asuka's heard enough! She attacks Jax, knocking her to her knee by the ropes. Asuka rebounds off the opposite ropes and charges Nia, hitting the bump and knocking Nia from the ring! Asuka yells in Japanese as Nia sulks off to the back and the Empress of Tomorrow's music plays us to the back!

Backstage with King Corbin

Charlie welcomes Smackdown's King Corbin and tonight, in the inaugural Brand to Brand Invitational, Corbin will take on McIntyre. She asks if he has any doubts, to which Corbin replies he doesn't have doubts--hes the king! He states he knows what makes Drew ticks, and carried Drew for a year, and while Drew is dangerous--he did beat Brock after all--he makes mistakes. And Corbin will defeat Corbin now, and then states that the next time he takes on McIntyre will be the main event of WrestleMania next year and he'll take his title. Wow.

In the Ring w/ R-Truth

We cut back from commercial to see R-Truth in the ring. His cousin Pretty Ricky told him that Lashley is a bad, bad man. We recap last Monday when R-Truth defeated MVP, before Lashley hit the ring and teamed with MVP to beat down R-Truth.

R-Truth: "I do not want Bobby to put me in Nelson from the Simpsons again. My childhood Hero John Cena, he would never give up when it came to facing a mean like Bobby Lashley, and never will I. Just like never will I give up on getting my baby back! Tom Brady! I hope you're watching what I"m about to do with Bobby Lashley, because when I'm done with him, I'm gonna find you. I'm gon' sack you. And I'm gon' win back my 24/7, 48/11, 28/7, I-95 South, 401K championship."

We hear Lashley's theme, and here we go!

R-Truth vs Bobby Lashley

Lashley makes his way to the ring, and he and Truth circle each other. The bell rings and Truth relaxes in the corner, asking for a minute. "Wait wait--you gonna debo me? You gonna debo me?" No clue what that means. Truth climbs out the room, and is "replaced" by Pretty Ricky. "C'mon Bobby! C'mon Bobby! Deebo Bobby Lashley!" Truth and Lashley engage at ring side. Lashley sends Truth into the barricade, then picks him up in a fireman's carry and slams Truth into the ringpost. Lashely throws Truth back into the ring and drives him to the ground. Lashley slaps Truth, stating "I'm not trying to hurt you man, get up and fight." Truth gets up and tries to battle back against Lashley, but it's stopped short when Lashley hits a killer clothesline! Lashley hits several knees to Truth's abdomen, puts him in the Full Nelson and hits the Full Nelson Slam! He's not finished! He picks Truth up and puts him in the Full Nelson sleeper, and puts Truth to sleep.
Your Winner, Bobby Lashley!

After the Match

MVP stands at the top of the ramp, applauding Lashley as we get highlights from the match. Backstage, we see Lana in some kind of tool room, freaking out. She's screaming and slinging tools everywhere.

Backstage w/ the Kabukki Warriors

Kairi and Asuka are celebrating. They part ways, and we see that Nia Jax was stalking them from the shadows. She eyes the direction Kairi went, and grins as we go to commercial.

FWIW: The Miz is hosting a show called Cannonball on the USA Network. Looks like it's about watersports. The water park kind, not the Presidential kind.

Women's Tag Team Title Match:
Alexa Bliss (c) vs the Iiconics

The tag team champions are out first, followed by the Iiconics. The Iiconics come out with mics and show clips from last week. After some more jabbing, we finally get into action in the ring. Nikki Cross is ferocious, both the Iiconics utilize quick tags to keep her isolated. Billie Kay goes for a quick pin but Cross kicks out. Kay goes for the Big Boot but misses, allowing Cross to tag in Bliss who dominates. Bliss uses her athleticism to keep on top of Kay. All four women end up in the room. Cross and Royce spill over to the outside, and as Billie Kay taunts, Alexas Bliss hits a massive right hand, decking Kay down. Bliss goes up top and hits the Twisted Bliss! One, two...no! Peyton Royce breaks it up and completely snaps, slamming Alexa's face repeatedly into the ring post. The ref warns her, but she won't stop, and after a few more warnings, the ref calls for the bell!
Your Winner by Disqualification, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross!

After the Match

The Iiconics screech unintelligibly before we cut to the backstage.

This One Time, at Backstage Camp

Kairi is sitting on an equipment cart, playing her flute, when Nia Jax stalks her and attacks her from behind, laying her out on the floor as we go to commercial!

Back From the Break

We see the Iiconics crying backstage, and we get another promo for the marvelous Undertaker: The Last Ride special. Chapter 3 debuts this Sunday! The announcers now go to show us scenes from Chapter 2, which I will not cover here as I will not spoil it. The show comes highly recommended by many sports outlets. Check it out!

The Announcers

They give props to the Undertaker special, then bring us back to last week when Shayna Baszler defeated Natalya. Natalya had a Banks/Bayley-level temper tantrum in the ring after the match. Up next, we'll have Natalya vs Shayna in a Submission Match!

Backstage with Kairi & Asuka

Kairi is being tended to by a sports medic, with ice on her face. Asuka checks on her bestie, then rages in Japanese and storms off as we storm off to another commercial break!

Nia and Asuka Backstage

Nia is walking along before Asuka runs up and yells at her in Japanese. Nia rolls her eyes and walks off, but Asuka grabs her by the hair and slams her into props in the hall. Asuka yells again before heading off as we head to the ring!

Submission Match: Shayna Baszler vs Natalya

The Queen of Spades comes out first to her awesome theme, and warms up in the ring. Out next, from Calgary, Alberta Canada is Natalya who wastes no time running to the ring! The bell rings and we're off! Shayna puts Natalya in a headlock, flipping her to the ground and holding the side headlock as the ref checks on her. Natalya forces them to their feet; Shayna sends Natalya into the ropes and shoulder blocks her down. Natalya tries to recover and get Shayna in the Sharpshooter, but Baszler reverses it into an ankle/calf lock in the middle of the ring! It takes Natalya nearly a minute to get the rope break, and she's noticeably limping in the ring on that ankle. Shayna locks Natalya in an arm lock, but Natalya performs a series of flips to reverse it, only to be slammed down to the ring again. Shayna verbally berates Natalya throughout this match. The announcers mention that Natalya is from the famous Dungeon and Hart Family, who pride themselves on submission skills.

Shayna goes for the sharpshooter but Natalya reverses it into her own Sharpshooter! Shayna's writhing in pain but can't break it! She nearly gets to the ropes but Natalya drags her back to the middle! She's been in the lock for over a minute now as the ref checks on her! Shayna finally makes her way to the ropes but there's no break! Finally Shayna dumps to the outside. She works her way back into the ring, and both women trade holds. Natalya goes for what looks like a suplex but Shayna locks Natalya in the Kirifuda Clutch! Natalya reaches for the bottom rope, but there's no rope break! The announcers keep mentioning how close she is tot the rope but there's no rope break and half a minute later, Natalya taps!
Your Winner by Submission (Kirifuda Clutch), Shayna Baszler!

After the Match

Natalya is frustrated. She shakes the ropes and stomps some. Ring crew are setting up the carpet and chairs for the next segment, but Natalya throws the chairs out the ring, tosses out props. She's frustrated. Samoa Joe suggests that Natalya take some time off if she can't handle the loss.

Backstage with Vega & Co

We see Angel Garza, Austin Theory, and Andrade all arguing. Zelina Vega runs up and sets them straight, letting them know that they're on the same side, and makes sure each one understands her. Each man acknowledges they do, with Austin stating "Yes...ma'am." We'll see Zelina and her Associates on the Kevin Owens show, next!

The Kevin Owens Show

Monday Night Raw starts its third hour as KO comes out! The set is in shambles due to Natalya's tantrum a few moments ago, and KO looks at the wreckage before heading into the ring. He gets a mic and tries to straighten out the carpet. "First of all, thank you Nattie for getting all the junk out of the way, it's pretty nice. You know, I've not been around for a while and people asked me why, and thing is at Wrestlemania I was looking for a moment. And in beating Seth Rollins, I got pretty banged up. But the good news is, I'm back--the Kevin Owens show has returned...it might be with a reduced set (thanks to Nattie), but tonight I've got a special set of guests! Zelina Vega, US Champion Andrade, Angel Garza and Austin Theory!"

Zelina and her Associates make their way to the ring and stand proud. KO welcomes them with applause, and apologizes for the mess. He starts to explain why he wanted them on the show, only to have Zelina interrupt them. "You guys see one little argument, and you think there's dysfunction in my group, that my empire is crumbling. You're wrong." She then goes on to praise Andrade, the US champion. She calls Angel the man who breaks faces and breaks hearts. Austin, who at only 22 years old, is this damn good. She then tells KO how her crew came up from the streets. She then calls KO out for being disrespectful by not being in the ring with his guests. KO tells her that he's learned from the last few months that when he's in a ring with multiple people, it doesn't go too well. He then tells them he wasn't in the ring because there's another guess coming out...Apollo Crews!

Apollo hits the ring fast and tackles Andrade, pounding him on the mat! They spill out the ringside, and Crews continues to pound Andrade! KO and the Associates all try to separate both men as we cut to commercial!

During the break, the Rock announces the return of the Titan Games and he's bringing in the "best of the NFL" and other marquee athletes.

KO & Apollo Crews vs Angel Garza and Andrade

We come back from the break and the action is under way. Apollo Crews hits a loooong stalling suplex on Angel. He makes a tag to KO, who stomps Garza into the mat and hits a senton. A tag is made and Andrade drops KO's neck across the top rope, then takes control of the action. He stomps Kevin Owens in the corner. Owens comes out with a chop, but Andrade stifles his comeback and slams him into the corner. Andrade whips KO into the corner but KO comes out charging with a clotheslines. Chops are followed by both men hitting tags. Crews comes in angry and hits quick body slams, a kick, another slam, lifts up Garza and hits a spin-out powerbomb to get the win!
Your Winners, Kevin Owens & Apollo Crews

After the Match

Austin Theory apologies, stating it was a miscommunication that cost them the match. Zelina yells "Oh really?" Andrade and Angel Garza immediately attack Austin Theory. They continue to beat him in the ring, then outside ringside. Theory tries to fight back but he's outnumbered! Garza and Andrade hold Theory as Zelina berates him and slaps him. Garza yells "it was an accident? This is an accident!" as they sling him into a stack of chairs. Theory rolls in pain on the floor.

Backstage with Drew McIntyre

Charlie asks Drew his thoughts on the Brand to Brand Invitational. Drew basically says every Monday, there's someone wanting to fight, and every Monday is a perfect time for a Claymore Party. He goes on to say that the Brand to Brand Invitational allows fans to have dream matches, and he loves it. He then goes on to state that Baron--no, let him get it right, King Corbin is a horrible person. Drew's seen him in traveling, backstage, and the man is just horrible. He then tells Corbin that he's got a special claymore for him--a Claymore fit for a King.

Tonight, for the first time ever (per Tom Phillips), Drew McIntyre goes one on one with King Corbin!

At the Viking War Camp

We see the Viking Raiders throwing axe after axe after axe, hitting their mark. Montez claims he's going to get his "Tiger Woods" on, causing Ivar to look for a Tiger in the Woods, before being corrected. Montez winds up for an axe throw and apparently throws it out of the park as bystanders off camera laugh...okay! To commercials we go!

At the Viking War Camp, Again!

The Raiders think that Montez's issue is there's too much smoke, so they order for the smoke to be put out. Dawkins is nervous about throwing as there's a man mounted on a horse. Dawkins slings it underhanded and hits a keg, from which pours out presumably water or moonshine. The viking encampment is mad and comes up but the Viking Raiders tell their viking compatriots that it was an accident and we cut to the ring.

Alesiter Black vs Buddy Murphy

Murphy's in the ring waiting as Black's wicked theme kicks in. Black wastes no time going right for Murphy. He corners Murphy; Murphy fights back and corners Black. Both men slug it out in the ring, countering and slugging it out. Black with a flurry of kicks; Murphy flees to the outside. Aleister rushes outside and hammers Murphy with kicks into the ringside barrier. The ref yells for Aleister to take it back in the ring. Aleister goes for a roundhouse, Murphy ducks, and black cracks his leg against the ring post! Ringside, Seth Rollins is staring at Austin Theory who's still ringside and in pain.

Outside the ring, Rollins extends a hand to Austin and says "I know what you're here for." He helps Theory to his feet. Inside the ring, Murphy goes airborne but Black counters with a knee. Both men are down. They make their way to their feet and Black hits another knee. Murphy's in trouble! Suddenly, Seth points to the ring and Austin Theory charges the ring and attacks Aleister Black! All four men are in the ring. Aleister attacks Theory, but Murphy hits him from the back. Now Seth looks on, directing Murphy and Theory to destroy Aleister Black. Aleister takes a knee to the face. Seth orders Theory to lift Black up, and he puts him in a fireman's carry then hits the ATL! Seth stares on, and he and Theory embrace. The Monday Night Messiah has another disciple it seems! The commenters wanted more disciples, and the Monday Night Messiah hears your prayers! Seth's music plays as we go to commercial!

Back from break, we get a clip promoting the E-S-T of N-X-T, Bianca Belair!

At the Viking Camp again

No more warming up, it's game time! One throw at a time. Each team gets ten axes. The only thing that scores is a bullseye. The viking crowd cheers and blows their horn and we're off!

Raiders start first, alternating throws and drinking from red cups. The Street Profits throw wild, missing with almost every throw. Ivar nails all five of his throws, too, and Montez misses all five of us. The Vikings are up 10-0. The Raiders tell the Profits this is their last shot, and to help them out, they start a "Smoke! Smoke! Smoke!" chant with their viking compatriots. The Profits hit the mark and everyone celebrates until a police cruiser pulls up, and two police demand to know who threw the axe that went through their windshield earlier in the day. Dawkins turns his back to the target and nails a throw without even looking, and everyone celebrates as this makes no sense whatsoever.

Backstage with Apollo Crews

Charly Caruso interviews Apollo. He laments the injury that cost him his spot in the Money in the Bank match. He's decided that he can't keep looking back, and he's going to just start taking what he wants. He states that his time in the ring reinvigorated him and he's formally challenging Andrade for the United States Championship next week. Zelina walks up and offers Apollo the chance to walk away with his one good knee, or he can get in the ring with Andrade and never walk again. Apollo asks if Andrade's scared that Apollo will slap his face off again, then tells Zelina not to answer it--because next week Apollo will be the new United States Champion.

Main Event: WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs King Corbin

The announcers let us know this is the first official match of the Brand to Brand Invitational as Drew makes his way to the ring and prepares himself. For the first time ever, we're having Corbin vs McIntyre in a non-title match after these messages from our sponsors!

We're back from what should be the final commercial break of the night! Don't forget that tomorrow night on FS1, they're running two back to back episodes of Ruthless Agression!

The Viking Camp...again

So we're cutting from the main event to the Viking camp, where an officer warns them that throwing axes is dangerous. She gives them a warning because Ivar is cute, but tells Erik he's not. And so...back to the main event!

Main Event: WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs King Corbin, continued

As Corbin comes out, we're reminded that the Brand to Brand Invitational allows a superstar to travel between brands four times per year. They're not clarifying if its four superstars total, or if each superstar can go back and forth four times. Either way, we're getting ready to start it up when Lashley's music hits!

MVP accompanies Lashley, and gets on the mic, stating that Lashley and MVP have taken an interest in this match. MVP reminds us that Corbin retired Kurt Angle; and he reminds us that McIntyre has the WWE Championship, and that's all that needs to be said. He again states that they have a very important interest in this match. Bobby takes the mic and puts Drew on notice, and threatens to pry the title out of Drew's cold, dead hands. Murder is afoot?

And apologies, we've got one more commercial break it seems. We leave the competitors in the ring staring at each other as MVP and Lashely stand at the top of the ramp and the commercials roll.

Back from the commercial, we're told that its official--next week Apollo Crews takes on Andrade for the United States Championship!

Back to the ring, the ref calls for the bell and both men lock up. Bobby Lashley and MVP are looking on as Drew and Corbin stay grappled, moving around the ring until Drew has Corbin in the corner and the ref breaks it. Corbin slaps Drew's chest, who returns the favor, and the lock up. Corbin breaks it up with a knee to the stomach. Drew retaliates with a flair chop, and another, but Corbin sends a shot to the thigh. Corbin gets Drew into the corner and hammers fists into the midsection as the ref counts. He breaks it, rebounds off the rope and slams Drew to the ground.
