Monday Night Raw Quick Recap for 12/21/2020

For those of you who want just the quick results and don't want the details of matches, this is a quick recap of tonight's show. There are spoilers for tonight's show below. The full results can be found right here. This is the first Monday Night Raw after TLC so if you've not yet watched TLC, there will be spoilers below to some extent.

Matches Tonight: 7
  • Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler defeated Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke by submission (Baszler w/ the Kirifuda Clutch on Brooke)
  • Angel Garza defeated Drew Gulak in a short match that saw Garza dominant.
  • Retribution's T-Bar defeated Ricochet. Afterwards, T-Bar yelled at Ricochet that this won't stop until Ali says it does--and Ali won't stop until Ricochet joins them.
  • The Hurt Business, represented by MVP and US Champion Bobby Lashley, defeated the Hardy Bros (Riddle & Jeff Hardy)
  • Jaxson Ryker squashed Gran Metallik in a short, short match.
  • Charlotte Flair & Asuka defeated Lacey Evans & Peyton Royce in a non-title match. They'll have their first title defense this Friday on Smackdown.
  • In our Six-Man Holiday Street Fight main event match, the team of Drew McIntyre, Keith Lee & Sheamus defeated the team of AJ Styles and the Miz & Morrison. After the match, Sheamus took out Keith Lee (who had tagged himself in when Sheamus was going for the win) and Drew McIntyre demanded to know why, and what he was doing, as our program ended..
Miscellaneous Non-Match Segments:
  • New WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, Asuka & Charlotte Flair, opened our show. Baszler & Jax came out, as did Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke, and all three teams exchanged words before Charlotte asked for a match to be made.
  • The VIP Lounge was focused on bragging about the Hurt Business winning the tag team titles and being the most dominant faction in the WWE. The newly-named "Hardy Bros"--Jeff Hardy & Matt Riddle--came out and promised to defeat the Hurt Business when they face them.
  • MizTV saw the Miz apologize to AJ Styles and accept responsibility for costing them both the match last night against Drew. Omos pointed out that John Morrison turned in the contract, and the Miz latched on to that--that the Miz technically didn't cash in the contract, Morrison did, and he demands to have his contract given back. Drew McIntyre, Keith Lee and Sheamus come out and read lines to their own "Nightmare After TLC" poem (as the Miz did the "Nightmare Before TLC" last week).
  • Randy Orton cut a promo about being evil and burning the Fiend alive. Bliss showed up, the Fiend-style, and had "Alexa's Playground" set up in the ring. She said the Fiend is at home now, but if he ever comes back, she looks forward to seeing him at Alexa's Playground.
