— The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that there have been discussions between WWE and ESPN that would bring WWE content to ESPN+. The belief is that WWE is trying to broker a deal that would be see them sell the rights to their PPVs to the streaming service that would ultimately allow the company to generate more revenue than they would if they tried to sell the content directly to customers through the WWE Network. It is believed that the UFC model with ESPN+ is what “opened their eyes.”
— WWE is expected to announce a Performance Center in Japan within the next few months, perhaps around summer time.
