-- The barbed wire that was used in the Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn unsanctioned match was reportedly not gimmicked or shaved down in any way and it is believed it was that way at the request of at least one of the wrestlers.
-- The American National Anthem being booed at Elimination Chamber in Toronto, Canada was something that WWE officials "absolutely planned" for to happen. The US anthem has regularly been booed at hockey games recently due to the increasing political tension between the two countries.
-- As noted before, WWE went to extreme lengths to protect the John Cena shocking heel turn. It was always planned out ahead of time and not something that came together last minute. The segment was listed internally as appearing third on the rundown as not to tip anyone off that something big was going to happen and ultimately protect Cena's heel turn from everyone except those that truly needed to know.
-- Despite the physical activity in the Rhodes/Cena/Rock segment, no producer was listed on the internal sheets. Usually, a producer is listed when there is any element or aspect of physicality. Of course in hindsight there was plenty of physicality in the match so not having a producer listed may have been another way WWE protected the heel turn.
-- There were no serious injuries coming out of WWE Elimination Chamber but many wrestlers suffered the typical array of bumps, bruises and scrapes.
-- Paul Levesque announced during the post-shw press conference that WWE Elimination Chamber had an attendance of 38,493 and it was the largest wrestling gate in the history of the venue, which is a significant feat considering WWE has held two WrestleManias in the stadium.
