-- WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes is recovering from an eye injury that he suffered at WrestleMania 42. The injury caused WWE to check him for a concussion and Rhodes required staples to cut up a gash near the eye. Fortunately, no orbital fracture was found, which would have him significantly lengthened his recovery time. In a quick update, Rhodes posted on Instagram what doctors told him:
"You won’t lose the eye…’ has to be the most positive yet absurd thing I’ve ever heard in a doctors office."
-- The Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp. shared today that the city was strongly in consideration to bring WWE WrestleMania 43 to the city. The event would have been held at the future dome stadium where the Tennessee Titans football team will play and it would have marked one of the first events there as the venue is expected to be completed in early 2027. The reason given was that the dates WWE wanted just didn't work out but Nashville is interested in bringing WrestleMania to the city in a future year.
