WWE News: Final Smackdown Viewership & Rating Down; Note on This Week's Raw Rating

-- We reported earlier that the overnight Smackdown audience came in at just over 2 million viewers, which was down compared to recent weeks. ShowBuzzDaily released the final figure of 2.147 million on Monday and while they rose slightly as expected from the fast nationals, it was still a dip of almost 5% week-over-week and the second least watched episode of Smackdown in over a month. This was against strong sports competition on the night with two Major League Baseball playoff games on TBS and FS1 as well as a college football game on ESPN. Smackdown did finish tied for first on the night among broadcast networks with a 0.52 rating in P18-49, but the aforementioned sports shows all beat it this in demo.

-- As noted, AEW Rampage was also greatly affected finishing at a series low 502,000 viewers and with a 0.17 rating for 15th spot.

-- Last night's WWE Monday Night Raw is almost surely going to suffer the fate as the wrestling shows on Friday as it aired against not only a thrilling Monday Night Football game that went into overtime, but more baseball playoff action, which has done surprisingly well this year in viewership.
