-- As per a report by Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, this year's SummerSlam PPV scheduled for August will be held in Nevada, which pretty much also guarantees that it will be in Las Vegas. It will be in front of a live audience as the company is already scheduled to go on the road starting in July. Other destinations considered were in Texas and in Phoenix.
-- WWE also switched up the PPV schedule by bringing forward Hell in a Cell from its usual fall place and holding it next month - the last PPV in the ThunderDome. According to the above report, the reason for this is because WWE officials felt that Hell in a Cell would better fit the ThunderDome concept while Money in the Bank - traditionally in June - is better saved for when they are in front of a live audience. To that end, Money in the Bank is now slated for July and it will emanate from somewhere in Texas.
