-- Earlier today, news broke that CM Punk suffered a torn triceps during the men's Royal Rumble match that is likely going to require surgery, which would subsequently put him out of WrestleMania 40. Punk is at tonight's Raw where it is expected that he will address his situation.
-- The belief is that Punk will need up to six months of recovery putting a return for SummerSlam as a possibility, however, WrestleMania would be out of the question. It is also believed that Punk suffered the injury after taking a double underhook DDT from Drew McIntyre as immediately after that, he rolled out of the ring holding his left arm and discussing the situation with a ringside referee. This would be a different injury than the torn trips he suffered while with AEW as that was to his right arm.
-- Punk was expected to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania but with the serious injury and Rollins himself not completely healthy, it is unclear how WWE will shuffle things around. Everything will surely be addressed tonight.
