WWE News & Notes: Gunther-Dragon Lee Controversy, Jade Cargill-Rhea Ripley, Danhausen's Debut, more

Below are various WWE news and notes from the last week:

  • WWE hired professional dancers based in the Chicago area to act as the Ghoulhausens during Danhausen's TV debut.
  • On Monday's WWE Raw, Gunther unmasked Dragon Lee in a spot that generated some controversy online. WWE sources have indicated, however, that the angle could be referenced on TV and used to further the storyline. No complaints were raised by any of the people involved and it should be noted that if the spot was an accident or not intended, WWE would have edited it on their social platforms, which they didn't do.
  • WWE wrestlers are "adamant" that the tweets that Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill have been exchanging are not a work but there is no concern at all from the company that there will be issues between the two when working together.
  • Brian "Road Dogg" James decided to leave WWE this week and as noted, he left on his own decision and was not released or fired. James was said to be unhappy in his role for a while.
  • With WrestleMania just over a month away, WWE has begun looking for extras to appear on the shows.
