WWE News & Notes: Mariah May's Name Changing, Miz & AJ Styles Updates, Worlds Collide, more

Below are various news and notes over the last few days:

  • WWE wrestler Joaquin Wilde, who was knocked out last week during a WWE Speed match is believed to be in the company's concussion protocol. Wilde was wrestling Lexis King but King wrestled Noam Dar in a WWE Speed match that was taped yesterday so it's like it will replace the Wilde-King match. Wilde has also been replaced by Lince Dorado for Saturday's Worlds Collide PLE.
  • Liv Morgan was banged up on Monday but is believed to be fully available for this weekend's WWE Money in the Bank and/or Worlds Collide events.
  • Veteran WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia will be back on TV this weekend serving in her familiar role at Worlds Collide.
  • After the news of R-Truth's exit made the rounds last week, long-time WWE superstar The Miz posted a tribute to his former partner and then subsequently removed all WWE mentions from his X social media bio. However, WWE sources have noted that there is no change with his status and he remains under contract.
  • AJ Styles loss on Raw elicited some reports that he was also on his way out of WWE, however, Styles is scheduled for regular appearances on Monday Night Raw moving forward.
  • The working belief is that recently debuted former AEW star Mariah May's name will be altered in some fashion though what her new name will be is not known at this time.
