The following are WWE news and notes coming out of last weekend's Clash in Italy premium live event.
- WWE sources indicated that the roster enjoyed the recent live events tour in Europe and were taking in "plenty of sights" at the places they visited.
- There was some internal chatter about how WWE creative decided to book Sol Ruca in a title match (which she subsequently won) despite not having scored a single pinfall win on the main roster until last weekend. Obviously, officials didn't care about that tidbit and booked her for the match and win.
- In case it wasn't clear, Brock Lesnar is expected to make multiple appearances for WWE following Clash in Italy.
- Creative for several wrestlers were changed in the immediate aftermath of WrestleMania 42. The original lineup for Clash in Italy actually looked quite different than what eventually played out.
- Former WWE wrestler Santino Marella was pitched for Clash in Italy dating back a number of months. He was shown in the audience but it's unclear if WWE tossed around the idea of him having him more involved or not.
