The following are news, notes and possible spoilers for tonight's WWE Saturday Night's Main Event in Salt Lake City, UT:
- Fightfulselect.com reported that the creative for the show tonight was heavily adjusted primarily because Jey Uso was not planned to be wrestling or involved in the event in any capacity.
- The backstage rumor is that if Elton Prince returns from injury, there is a high chance that Pretty Deadly will be reunited.
- CM Punk vs. Jey Uso as the main event for Saturday Night's Main Event has been planned to end the show since at least the last week.
- While he was at Smackdown last night, it is believed that Triple H is not at tonight's Saturday Night's Main Event. The same can be said of Bruce Prichard, who had been recently absent, re-appeared at Smackdown but isn't believed to be backstage for SNME.
- Injured WWE star Bianca Belair was in town for Smackdown but it's not clear if she was backstage at the show or if she is at Saturday Night's Main Event. Belair's injury has turned out much more complicated than anyone expected but she still travels to some shows even if she's not scheduled for them so her presence this weekend could simply be for that reason.
- A WWE source indicated that the company had been "very disappointed" in ticket sales for the events in Salt Lake City - a huge drop from when WWE was in town about a year ago and less than the average of what the company has been drawing for other similar live events. Fans were moved down from the upper sections as a result.
