As noted earlier, NXT wrestlers who appeared at Saturday Night's Main Event drew rave reviews from WWE officials after their performances with many expecting them to be major stars for the company in the future. However, on the latest Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez pumped the brakes on when that might happen, confirming that as of today, none of those talents (Joe Hendry, Je'Von Evans, Oba Femi, Sol Ruca or Leon Slater were expected to be called up to either of the main brands.
Injured WWE superstar Seth Rollins appeared on Games With Names and detailed the shoulder injury which is expected to knock him out of action until around WrestleMania 42: "I jumped from one turnbuckle all the way across the ring to the other turnbuckle where Cody Rhodes was hanging upside down and I headbutted him. But in the landing, I didn’t stick it. I did not stick the landing. I rotated a little bit to my left, landed hard on my left elbow, jolted it up into the shoulder. Felt it go right away."
After attempting to aggressively rehab a shoulder injury he suffered on the Novembe 24 episode of WWE Raw in order to be able to reunite with his brother Rey Fenix for the first time since leaving AEW, Penta will fall short in his attempt. Penta announced on social media that he will be unable to wrestle at Saturday's AAA Guerra de Titantes event where he would have teamed up with Fenix to take on WWE's Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano. However, he announced that WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio will be stepping into the match in his place.
