The previously rumored tag team match which will feature Roman Reigns is all but confirmed for WWE SummerSlam next month.
In a video posted to his social media, Reigns extended an offer to Jey Uso for SummerSlam since neither are in any title matches. Reigns stated that he loved standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Uso on Raw and was looking to team up with him to take on the "Bron Brons" - Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. He hoped that Uso would trust him enough to accept the challenge to face the two as well as the "dumbass in their corner" who they can have. Presumably, Uso will accept the invite on Friday's Smackdown or through social media.
Below is the current lineup for the two-night SummerSlam to take place on August 2nd and 3rd:
- WWE Undisputed Title Street Fight Match: John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes
- World Heavyweight Title Match: Gunther vs. CM Punk
- WWE Women’s Title Match Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill
- Women’s World Title Match: Naomi vs. IYO SKY vs. Rhea Ripley
- WWE Intercontinental Title Match: Dominik Mysterio vs. AJ Styles
- WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title Match: Becky Lynch vs. Lyra Valkyria
- WWE United States Steel Cage Title Match: Solo Sikoa vs. Jacob Fatu
- WWE Women's Tag Team Title Match: Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss
- Tag Team Match: Randy Orton & Jelly Roll vs. Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul
- Tag Team Match: Roman Reigns & Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed (Not yet confirmed, but likely)
