Royce Keys is finally set to make his WWE Smackdown debut.
WWE announced earlier this afternoon that Keys - who was previously Powerhouse Hobbs in AEW - will be wrestling live on Smackdown this Friday.
After having made his debut at the Royal Rumble in January, Keys never appeared on weekly TV programming though was strongly rumored to be landing on the Smackdown brand. Instead, WWE has been having him train at the WWE Performance Center while working dark matches before both Raw and Smackdown.
In anticipation of his debut, WWE released the following video package:
“I refuse to be defined by where I’m from, but instead by where I’m going.”
From East Palo Alto to the world stage, @RealRoyceKeys’ journey has shaped him into the man he is today. Keys writes another chapter in his story when he makes his official #SmackDown debut TOMORROW!! pic.twitter.com/8vpYJXDIO8— WWE (@WWE) April 9, 2026
