Kevin Owens is sidelined indefinitely as he revealed a week ago, dealing with a neck injury that will require surgery. The diagnosis has forced him out of WrestleMania and there is no timetable for his return.
On Friday, Dave Meltzer of f4wonline.com reported that Owens had already undergone surgery on April 7, however, both fightfulselect.com and pwinsider.com report that Meltzer's report is false and that Owens has not yet undergone surgery. One of the reports indicated that Owens was spotted on Friday morning at Atlanta's airport and showed no signs of having undergone surgery.
The fightful report noted that due to the nature of Owens' injury and the major surgery he will be undergoing, WWE officials do not expect him back for the rest of 2025 and that it's possible he could miss WrestleMania 42 in 2026 as well.
