WWE Not Looking to Merge Raw & Smackdown Rosters; Reigns & Rhodes Pushed at Top of Each Brand

-- While WWE has run a storyline to unite the Raw and Smackdown tag team titles and after Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar to unify the Universal and World titles, there have been rumors that have led people to believe that WWE will be merging the rosters of the Raw and Smackdown brands. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that this is not the case at all and "at this point" isn't the plan, but cautioned that Vince "can and does" change his mind regularly.

-- In WWE's promotional material to media partners and in advertising for social media and local markets where they are running Raw and Smackdown, the company has been pushing one photo/wrestler as the "face" of the brand. As per the Observer for Friday Night Smackdown, it is obviously Roman Reigns while for Monday Night Raw it is Cody Rhodes.
