Singer Jelly Roll appeared on last night's WWE Smackdown and promptly got involved in a segment with WWE superstar Logan Paul, further leading to intervention from both Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton. As one may guess, the planned celebrity match for next month's SummerSlam is Jelly Roll and Orton to team up against Paul and McIntyre.
Announced for next week's WWE Friday Night Smackdown is some sort of confrontation between reigning WWE Undisputed Champion John Cena and his SummerSlam challenger, Cody Rhodes. The promotion for the show is hyping it as a segment where the two superstars will be "under one roof."
On last night's WWE Smackdown, the Wyatt Sicks duo of Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy became new WWE tag team champions when they defeated The Street Profits. The Sicks' Erick Rowan made his presence his known in the match by interfering which ultimately led to the win. It is the first title of any kind in WWE for both Lumis and Gacy.
