WWE Notes From Raw: JD McDonagh Returns, Xavier Woods Sidelined, Mystery Crate Emerges

As reported yesterday, JD McDonagh was not only backstage at last night's WWE Raw, but he made his return after an approximate three month absence. McDonagh returned to renew his growing tension with Judgment Day stablemate Finn Balor after having been sidelined due to surgery believed to be either to his wrist or hand.

WWE introduced a new mystery storyline into play on Raw last night. A large crate was seen delivered with explicit instructions to open it on February 28, 2026 - the date for WWE Elimination Chamber. WWE Raw GM Adam Pearce tried to find out more information about the crate but the deliveryman did not have any details so Pearce asked him to send the crate to Nick Aldis and Smackdown instead.

It was also shared on last night's WWE Raw that Xavier Woods will be taking some time off to deal with a nagging shoulder injury that he has been battling for the last three months. Woods' partner and friend Kofi Kingston shared the news, noting that WWE's medical team were forcing Woods into inactivity.
