Orton ended up arriving and Owens took out Ricky, who was later revealed to be Ricky Gibson, one half of the indie tag team, Midnight Heat.
-- WWE initially advertised Roman Reigns for Smackdown in Seattle but then stopped promoting him even though he was always planned for the show. Fightfulselect.com reported that the reason for this is that WWE officials wanted his appearance to be a surprise.
-- The match between Piper Niven and Michin was originally expected to get several minutes of run-time but was ultimately cut short due to time constraints. Speaking of time constraints, it has been confirmed that with Smackdown on the USA Network, the show will have an "occasional" overrun that the USA Network will grant them.
-- While they appeared on camera, none of the legends on Friday's Smackdown (Vickie Guerrero, RVD, Ron Simmons, Teddy Long) are planned within creative moving forward. Their visits appear to be one-time deals.
-- Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser and Damian Priest were all at Smackdown all shown on camera and ended up working dark matches.
